Nearby the beautiful and laid back beach resort of Praia da Luz has a good choice of restaurants, cafes and shops starting from the black rock, along the promenade and up to the old fortress. In Luz village you have supermarkets, hairdressers, post office, doctors, chemist, shops, cafes and restaurants catering for all your needs.
Just a short drive to the lovely old town of Lagos which has a great choice of shops, restaurant, bars, cafes and nightlife. From the Marina or promenade you can take a wonderful boat trip into the caves or out to sea for some dolphins watching.
There's so much to see and do in this excellent region.

The villa is approx.4km from Lagos and 3km from Praia da Luz - West Algarve.
This area is famous for its clean air, traditional food and wine and historic beauty spots but of course it's most popular attractions are it's huge range of sandy beaches, some of the most beautiful are nearby.
If you have some energy to burn there are superb golf courses, horse riding, water sport and tennis courts within a few minutes drive.
The beautiful and historic town of Lagos, once the capital of the Algarve, is home to many shops and boutiques. Its cafes and restaurants offer a fantastic choice of cuisine. Wander its long winding streets, sit and have a cool cocktail watching passers by in this laid back, friendly place.
Stroll to the town's modern marina, enjoy an ice-cream, coffee or lunch overlooking luxury yachts. For a real adventure take one of the many boat trips that are on offer.
