Set on Agios Ioannis Beach, this lovely villa is set in an enclave of five villas who all enjoy the close proximity of the beach with the sound of the sea in the background. Situated at the back, Nefeli has great sea views from the first floor balconies. The swimming pool, terrace and lawns are surrounded by tall fir trees for more privacy and there is a barbecue with a handy sink for al fresco dining. Inside, the relaxing ambience is heightened with pastel pink and rose coloured hues, complemented by traditional wooden furniture and a lovely collection of memorabilia, making it a rural countryside house set right across the road from the Ionian Sea. Rustic touches such as hanging herbs in the kitchen, an old wooden trunk as a coffee table and driftwood used as a table piece all make this a welcoming and comfortable base from which to explore the beach and further afield, the island itself. Agios Ioannis sandy beach is vast and spreads out around the bay where further along the beach is famous for the kite surfers that enjoy the warm thermal currents that sweep along the coastline. Beachfront tavernas offer fresh fish and traditional Meze, washed down with the local beer or wine and a local mini-market is a 15 minute walk from the house. A beach lovers paradise, this is the place to relax and unwind.
