Description

Today, we have been invited by Mateo to visit his villa "Sa Caseta de Castellet" together. A small but lovely holiday home that offers all the essentials for a holiday without sacrificing luxuries. Upon arrival at the villa, we discover that it is situated on a cute estate, surrounded by lots of trees, completely hidden away in a fabulous remote location. Mateo and a few hens, a cat, and dog who live on this estate greet us, but the dog can be kept in a kennel if you would prefer it not to be roaming free. We were really impressed with this alone! Everything here is so natural and after just a short time, you no longer feel as if you are just on holiday. The strikingly large pool with outdoor shower is at the side of the house. The pool with meandering pattern is child friendly, with an oval stairwell access. The pool area is surrounded by a large spacious sun terrace with six sun loungers. Should shade be required, white parasols are available. Whilst relaxing on the sun loungers by the pool, you can enjoy wonderful distant views over the lovely area around Santa Margalida. Let's visit the large terrace at the house, lined with lots of plants of which some are cleverly planted in disused garden accessories, such as a wheel barrow. Here, there is a very nice dining area with white furniture under a covered terrace. For intimate get-togethers, there is polyrattan furniture with comfy white cushions, partially in the style of a Recamiere. At this villa, overlooking the built-in BBQ and the fountain, you can enjoy nature and life to the full in the evenings. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with an oven next to the BBQ – so you can enjoy a large part of your holiday outside, in the balmy Mediterranean outdoors.

The interior of the house is accessed from the terrace.
Although not luxurious, a fabulous cosiness emanates from its classical style of furnishing. The combined living, dining, and kitchen area are located in an open-plan room. The floors have terracotta tiling, the walls are painted bright, and wooden beams are visible in the ceiling. Integrated illuminated shelving is located around the fireplace. The pretty accessories come into their own in the soft lighting. Two comfy sofas are there for your relaxation, allowing you to enjoy a quaint evening in front of the fire on cooler nights. On the walls, there is a collection of hand-painted porcelain plates – a typical testimony to Mallorcan crafts. A large dining area with an oval wooden table is located between the living area and the kitchen. Alongside the dresser, there is lots of storage space in the kitchen units for the crockery. The five-flame gas cooker offers a nostalgic touch. Three double rooms can accommodate a total of six people. One bedroom has a French-style double bed measuring 1.35 x 1.9 m, the second bedroom has two single beds, each is 0.9 x 1.9 m, making this room very suitable for children. The cupboards in the rooms offer sufficient space for your holiday wardrobe. The bath with natural light with a bathtub and shower is shared between both bedrooms. We have to mention its particularly favourable price we can offer the comfortable villa "Sa Caseta de Castellet" for, even in high season. In the shoulder and low seasons, the price is even more attractive.

Last but not least, the location of the villa "Sa Caseta de Castellet" is simple perfect. It is far enough away from the tourist hustle and bustle, allowing you to enjoy its rural setting, but on the other hand it is not too remote. The location close to the road from Muro to Santa Margalida means that both places are easily reached. Santa Margalida is just 3.5 km away and the nearest supermarket is a bit closer still. The authentic village of Santa Margalida exudes the authentic charm of a typical Mallorcan village – the villa "Sa Caseta de Castellet" fits in very nicely. It has retained its authenticity, which is one of the reasons why Santa Margalida is considered one of the prettiest villages on the island. The drive to the beach takes only about 10 minutes; you can visit the well known seaside resort of Can Picafort with a vast beach that joins up with the Bay of Alcúdia. Many factors contribute to give this completely harmonious image and we at Fincallorca wish you a perfectly relaxing and carefree holiday in our villa "Sa Caseta de Castellet".
