Description

Here, you can fully enjoy maritime Mediterranean life without shoes and with every imaginable comfort: The natural-stone villa "Son Buc" with its pretty light blue window shutters and wonderful beach objects in the garden was built at the foot of a hill in a fantastic secluded location on a huge estate. Surrounding the entire house, the lovingly landscaped garden with many whitewashed ship planks, thick boat ropes, beach buoys, and numerous tall palm trees invites children to play and adults to while away the time. The many terraces – partly sunny, partly covered – are charmingly scattered around the villa and offer beautiful views of the surrounding nature, provide comfortable seating and lounging opportunities. Here, everyone will quickly find their favourite spot, whether with a delicious cocktail on the lounge chair on the roof terrace, at the rustic wooden table for a little snack, or with a good book on the romantic daybed by the pool. Speaking of the pool: Child-proof thanks to a subtle fence, the gently sloping water shimmers enticingly in the sun and promises refreshment on hot days.

Thanks to many windows, some of them floor-to-ceiling windows, "Son Buc" presents a wonderfully bright and cheerful interior. Wooden beams on the ceilings and rustic, exposed natural-stone walls form a contrast to radiant white walls and elegant tiled floors – a perfect combination of tradition and modernity. The interior design is also stylish: A classic country house style contrasts the nearly purist-looking furniture. The living room with an extra deep sofa on which you can stretch out in front of the TV, the dining area with a long wooden table and wicker chairs, and the very chic, simple, and modern kitchen with a white counter that's great for a quick breakfast or a glass of wine seamlessly merge thanks to their open-plan design. Two tastefully designed, spacious, and air-conditioned double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor that can be reached via a stone staircase, promise sweet dreams: The rooms have done without unnecessary frills and excessive decor, instead focusing on natural tones and skilful lighting. The same applies to the two elegant en-suite bathrooms, one with a floor-level shower and one with a wonderfully wide bathtub.

Even if you don't want to leave this paradise in the countryside: Be sure to plan a trip or two to the surrounding area – it's worth it! The typically Mallorcan, hilly landscape around the villa is simply perfect for long walks or cycling tours through nature. For shopping, a stroll through town, or a restaurant visit, you can drive about 3.9 km down the road that is audible from the property to the medieval town of Artà. Don't miss out on the colourful weekly market on Tuesdays. Afterwards, casually stroll through the narrow alleys of this town worth visiting with the special atmosphere that has motivated many artists to settled down here over the years. But if you'd prefer to go to the beach, you won't have to venture far either: Sa Marjal, a beautiful sandy beach with dunes, waves, and a good infrastructure, is only 10.3 km away, while the beach of Canyamel, surrounded by beautiful nature, is only 10.8 km away.
