Description

Villa Colombarone is an elegant, sumptuous villa set among expansive, verdant lawns, surrounded by fragrant woodlands, just a few moments from the coast in the Marche province of Italy.

This home is situated in a calm and secluded idyll away from the bustle of the modern world. The natural materials and muted colours almost blend seamlessly into the wooded, natural surroundings. The villa is stunningly designed, with architectural panache, while not being ostentatious or flashy - the abundance of natural light and high-quality raw materials create such a subtle and chic ambience of low-key luxury.

The outdoor spaces are second to none: flowering blossoms, enchanting gardens, tall poplars, ample secret paths and magical secluded corners make for an unparalleled tranquil idyll.

Contemporary, whitewashed exteriors are shaded by large wooden veranda style covering and offset by large windows and floor to ceiling glass, allowing natural light to pour in, creating a wonderfully bright and airy feel internal.

The pool area is sleek and contemporary, offering far reaching woodland views, ample decking space with elegant day beds and sun loungers. There is an array of spaces for al fresco dining, including the large balcony which is set up for group meals in the shade amid flowering plants, the dappled veranda which leads onto the lawns, or little nooks for cosy and intimate breakfasts or evening drinks.

The unique, modern yet subtle architecture results in something very special: a secluded oasis of design flair and interiors prestige, amid the most luscious nature. Guests will take in something worthy of an interiors magazine as they enter this space: every detail has been considered, every hallmark of quality is present.

From bright and quirky touches, orientally inspired upholstery exposed original brickwork and a fresh and vibrant feel by the thematic glass, this home offers a holiday with a difference!

The modern kitchen is slick, with steel worktops and state of the art appliances - it offers a space a chef would feel at a home at! There is a choice of open-plan seating areas, offering informal luxury and comfort at every turn. The “book” room is cosy and snug; artwork and artefacts add characterful touches.

Again, full of natural light and bright, crisp finishes with accents of bright colour, the bedrooms offer a retreat from the world in such a stylish setting. One of these boasts a wonderful studio style desk ideal for artists or writers or children's crafts. Parquet flooring, floor to ceiling glass doors, designer furnishings and lighting, each bedroom has its unique touches.

The closest shops and services are at Ponte Tavollo and Gabicce. The park surrounding the villa, which covers about 3000 sqm offers multiple trails and pathways and leads onto the seafront.
The area is rich in cultural and artistic heritage - from Rimini to Pesaro, to the fascinating coastline snuggled against the Appenini mountains. Nearby Riccione is on the Adriatic coast, just a few kilometres away. It is known for its vibrant party scene, water parks and long sandy beaches. This is a stylish town with an international appeal - in the heart of the eastern Italian Riviera.

Rimini, worth a days trip, is steeped in ancient history by way of a fortress, ancient churches and artistic heritage, but is also boasting a buzzing night time scene and sleek boutique-lined streets. Full of Renaissance charm, a glut of pretty piazzas and roman remains including first century Tiberius Bridge, built during the reign of Augustus. This thriving town is also known a backdrop for the most popular Italian movie of all time "Amarcord".

San Marino makes for a fascinating visit; not technically part of Italy, this captivating town is a must-see destination for history lovers, and for those who love panoramas, it is one of the world's oldest and smallest republics.

For beaches, the glittering Adriatic Riviera has been Italy's go-to seaside destination since the sixties - Rimini being the jewel in the crown with nine miles of beaches and famous entertainment scene.
