There is also a bathroom, a first-floor cloakroom and a cloakroom with washing machine, along with a kitchen, dining room, and sitting room with a gas flame-effect fire. Outside there is an enclosed patio garden with seating overlooking the estuary. 9 Harefield Cottages makes a wonderful escape to Devon for a family of six.

The coast isn't too far, around 5 miles down to the Blue Flag award winning Sandy Bay Beach, whilst adventures along the River Exe can be enjoyed with bike rides along the Exeter to Exmouth cycle route, with walks in the nearby East Devon AONB.
