Description

Far from the city hustle, in the small place of Donja Klada south of Senj, lies this small and simply equipped holiday house. The interior is arranged in two separate accommodation units with private entrance. For relaxation during the day or evening, there are terraces with beautiful sea views. One of the local attractions is a mobile shop for the daily supply of fresh local and indigenous groceries. Arriving at the place, you can leave your car on the waterfront, and you can reach the holiday home by stairs. From the main road to the waterfront leads about 3 km long paved, but steep and winding road. If you are a fan of active holidays and want to explore the surroundings, you can take a day trip to Senj or the neighbouring islands of Rab or Pag. Driving north you arrive in the town of Senj, which apart from the stormy wind named bura, is also known for its rich cultural heritage, glorious past, literature and tradition. The most prominent monument that testifies to this glorious and turbulent past is the Nehaj tower, built in the 16th century to defend against the Turks and Venetians. Among the cultural events that testify to the rich culture and tradition, which the inhabitants of this area are extremely proud of, are certainly the carnivals, both winter and summer, international, which takes place in August. People live here for that time of year. Other entertainment and cultural events include the Uskok Days, the Klapa Festival, the Samba Festival, the Music Evenings in the Cathedral, fairs of traditional products, and fishing festivals. Fans of active holiday here will enjoy various water sports activities from diving, fishing or sailing on one of the city beaches.
