Description

The gentle coastal breeze has polished this house like a pebble over the years as the waves of its history and heritage are shown in the lines and features of the rock walls like an elderly relative endearing face. Dating back to the early 20th Century and retaining many original features, this unique house offers characterful surroundings and a slice of authentic living while recent renovations fuse modern comfort and flair. The interior is designed with a calm palette of pastel colours while its distinctive position built into the mountainside shelters from the northerly winds. The proximity to Montenegro’s border is an alluring prospect for many travellers with sights such as Kotor’s UNESCO old town in and lush pebble beaches whilst the famous gem of UNESCO Dubrovnik old town is a short walk from the villa threshold. However, with a swimming pool set on a raised perch allowing a sun-drenched, aerial view of the Adriatic Sea and fringing Croatian coastline, many opt to bask in the outdoor setting of this Dalmatian home. The BBQ area is set within its own sheltered courtyard whilst a bubbling hottub is an extra feature to enjoy during the day or at night whilst star gazing.
