A country house in a secluded location, equipped with all the modern comforts you could wish for, wonderfully rustic and at the same time exceptionally stylish – the villa "Can Tano" near Inca in the centre of the island unites these ostensible contrasts. The centre of the well-tended outdoor area is clearly the large, heated saltwater pool, which is just as good for relaxed lounging on the lilo as for athletic workouts. Afterwards, you can settle down for a well-deserved siesta on one of the comfortable sun loungers spread around the pool – the spot in the shade of one of the two pretty orange trees is particularly beautiful. It is also very pleasant to sit on the covered terrace, either on the chic outdoor lounge furniture or at the long wooden table with designer chairs for a meal.

The interior of "Can Tano" will make the heart of any interior design aficionado beat faster: here, something entirely new was created from the ruins of an old building – and cleverly played with. Puristic design meets rustic natural-stone walls, white walls in combination with large windows and cleverly placed ceiling spots let the light in. The furniture as well as the room ceilings and a few fixtures use wood in different shades to set colour nuances. A special feature is the inner courtyard, which can be accessed separately through all rooms on the ground floor – except for the entrance area with the guest toilet. These include the stylish kitchen with wooden fronts and a counter in a warm shade of brown, the natural-stone wall, and high-quality appliances – from the large refrigerator to the built-in oven at eye level. A long table with matching benches invites you to have a feast in the adjoining dining area. Next door, you will find the spacious living room with three snug sofas on which you can make yourself comfortable. Speaking of comfort: this characteristic also applies to the total of six discreetly decorated double bedrooms, five of which are on the ground floor and one on the upper floor, all with an en-suite bathroom – privacy guaranteed!

If you like walks or cycling tours through nature, "Can Tano" is the perfect starting point. For day-to-day shopping or a relaxed shopping trip, you can drive the 5.1 km to Inca along the road that may be audible depending on the direction of the wind. The third largest town in Mallorca is primarily known for its leather production and shoemaking. Especially on the outskirts, you can hunt for bargains at the numerous outlet stores. But there's also plenty to discover in shops of the city centre – and the same applies for the town's restaurants. Whether typical Mallorcan or international kitchen: Inca offers restaurants, tapas bars, and cafes to suit every taste. Additionally, the island's biggest weekly market takes place every Thursday in the open air. For a day by the sea, we recommend the versatile Bay of Alcúdia with its various beautiful stretches of coastline that you can reach after 25 km by car.
