The home is situated on a gated estate and allows guests to enjoy total privacy and tranquillity while admiring the landscaped gardens and surrounding rolling fields and river walks.

The formal dining room makes a fantastic space for the whole group to gather and enjoy a yummy meal while reflecting on the memorable highlights and adventures of the day. After dinner, evenings can be spent enjoying a game of snooker in the games room, followed by a yummy nightcap in the fully stocked cellar bar. On a request basis and for an additional charge it is possible to arrange catering, perfect for a special meal or if you are simply wanting a totally relaxing stay! Also here is the 16th century Ormond Castle, this is one of the best examples of an Elizabethan manor house in Ireland, a real hidden gem and is well worth a visit. For those wanting to explore the area on foot, the East Munster Way, a 70km walking route, starts from Carrick On Suir and follows the River Suir upstream. The route is varied and interesting with everything from riverside paths, woodland and open mountain moorland. For keen golfers, Carrick On Suir Golf Club is one of Ireland's premier golf clubs, featuring panoramic views of the Suir Valley and the Comeragh Mountains and is less than a 15-minute car journey from the house. For guests travelling in from further afield, both Shannon and Dublin Airports are approximately a 2-hour car journey from Carrick Manor.
