Hunters Cabins are a group of 5 cedarwood lodges in a wonderful location with panoramic views towards the Angus Glens. Set in a peaceful woodland meadow, overlooking the River South Esk, they are only 5miles from the market towns of Forfar and Kirriemuir. Ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday amongst wonderful scenery, the lodges can sleep from 2 to 6 people and so are perfect if you want to get away with some friends but appreciate your own space! All are very comfortably furnished with everything you need and each has its own sitting out area and barbecue where you can enjoy an al fresco meal.

The lodges are centrally located between the Angus coastal route with dramatic cliff tops, picturesque harbours and wonderful beaches at Montrose, St Cyrus and Lunan Bay and the Glens with spectacular waterfalls, winding rivers and natural history to explore. Visit Kirriemuir, the Gateway to the Glens, where winding narrow streets converge on the town centre and where you can visit the author JM Barrie’s birthplace. From the Camera Obscura, enjoy panoramic views of the countryside and Grampian Hills. Glamis Castle is well worth a visit and the cities of Perth and Dundee are an easy drive away. Superb golf courses, walking, horse riding and fishing can all be enjoyed in the immediate locality and there are plenty of good eating places nearby. Holly (UK33718) and Ivy (UK33719) are a matching semi-detached pair, both snug and cosy with open plan studio style accommodation. Perfect for couples or friends, the beds can be configured as either two singles or a super kingsize. Thistle (UK33720) and Heather (UK33722) are the largest of the lodges, both sleeping 6 with an attractive sitting out area accessed from the open plan living/dining room.

Heather can be booked together with Holly (UK33718), Ivy (UK33719), Thistle (UK33720) and Bracken (UK33721) to accommodate up to 20 guests.
