Description

Nestled on the Pelion mountainside in the southeastern part of Thessaly, central Greece, you'll discover Villa Peleus Mountain; a stunning three-bedroom property that accommodates up to 6 guests. Thoroughly modern throughout and featuring incredibly beautiful decor and design, the villa comes complete with private pool and outdoor shower, outside dining area, and panoramic views of the glittering Aegean sea.
The ground floor features an open-plan layout and consists of living, kitchen and dining areas. The entire floor is contemporary in style and draws from a colour palette of creams, woods, and natural tones. There are portions of exposed brickwork and floors made from African wood, which perfectly complement the industrial-influenced design of the lamps and light fittings, as well as the wooden-framed mirrors, and staircase. The sofas and coffee table of a light coloured rattan framework are made cosy and inviting by their plush cream cushions and give the room a chic country vibe. There is an energy-efficient fireplace in this room, with wood provided for the winter months, as well as a Smart TV with internet connection, Blue Ray player and radio, which takes care of any indoor entertainment needs.

The dining area features a solid wooden table with bench seating along one side, and cream-coloured chairs along with the other, seating 6 guests. As you move into the kitchen area, the floors of African wood merge with intricately patterned Greek-style tiles, and your eye is drawn upwards towards the white units and solid wooden countertops which offer plenty of spaces for storage and food preparation. The kitchen features an electric oven and hob, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, sandwich maker and toaster, as well as, filter coffee machine, kettle, and Dolce Gusto Espresso machine. There is also a separate utility room which houses the washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. Villa Peleus Mountain has three beautiful bedrooms; two doubles, and a twin (which can be easily converted into a kingsize bed. One of the double rooms is situated on the ground floor and features an en-suite bathroom and has access to the back garden area. The other two rooms are found on the first floor, accessed by the beautiful wooden and tiled staircase. All three bedrooms are decorated to an incredibly high standard and follow the same neutral colour scheme with lots of white tones and beautiful solid wooden floors. There are flat-screen TVs in each room and gorgeous tall white wooden wardrobes with handles of natural wood, chunky wooden dressing tables, ornately carved framed mirrors and contemporary lamps with stems of twisted natural wood. Light and airy and offering spectacular views the rooms all have a peaceful and serene vibe, with the two first floor rooms having access to a private balcony.

The outside areas are just as luxurious, with beautiful wooden decking and sun loungers around your private pool. There is an outdoor shower where you can freshen up before heading to the outside dining table and enjoy a glass of something, or maybe an alfresco meal cooked on your own gas bbq. From here, guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic sea views in total relaxation and privacy.

#### Location
The Mount Pelion peninsula of Magnesia is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece, with stunning landscapes and incredible beaches. The mountain itself is rich with vegetation from olives and pines to apple orchards, and provides some of the best hiking trails in the country. An ideal holiday destination all year round, thanks to being a prime skiing location, and unrivalled in the summer when it comes to a family beach holiday in the sun.

Pelion is home to many beautiful villages, all of which ooze charm and offer quaint cafes and tavernas, monasteries, markets selling locally sourced produce, and wineries.

Some of the best beaches in Pelion are found on the northeast coast, including Agios Ioannis, well-equipped for families with its sunbed and umbrella hire, soft sand and crystal blue waters. Mylopotamos is another well worth a visit if you are holidaying in the region, a white pebbled beach that is cooler than some thanks to its eastern winds. It is divided into two sections by rocks, and a winding path leads from one to the other. Pine trees overshadow the path, providing plenty of shade, and above the beach is a beach bar and some lovely tavernas.

Pelion also provides lots of shopping opportunities, especially if edible treats are what you're after! The Women's Agritourism Cooperative Zagora is renowned for its delicious preserves and sweet products. Pop in for a coffee and a jar of jam made from the small firiki apple, found only in Pelion. There are markets and stalls in the region selling everything from fresh honey, handpicked herbs and olive oil, to biscuits, and baklava, so why not indulge! After all - you are on holiday!
