Description

Imagine waking up to the sounds of the birds chirping, to the sunlight sneaking in your window, and to the smell of fresh coffee and pastries filling the room. For guests who call Villa Maggia their home away from home, this dream can become a reality.
This villa boasts a modern feel, while also staying true to the traditional Italian styling and decor, it's very Italian renaissance chic, with modern bathrooms. It's a huge house, with two kitchens, plenty of living spaces, and enough rooms to accommodate up to 10 guests.
If you are travelling with a large group everyone can have their own space, whether they're playing a game of table tennis downstairs, watching a film in the living room, reading a book in the sitting room, or enjoying the sun outside – there are so many options, you might never want to leave.
Split over two levels, there are five bedrooms. The master bedroom and two single rooms are upstairs, and there's another two bedrooms downstairs, one double and one with a comfortable double sofa bed. All of the rooms offer air-conditioning, so after a long day exploring you can get a restful sleep. With so many guests, multiple bathrooms are a must and over the two floors, this villa offers three (and one bathroom outside). There's even a hydromassage shower and tub in one of them, perfect for your weary muscles after a day walking about.
The best part about the villa is its homely feel, it's a great place to base yourself on your Italian adventures. It's also a great place to cook up a feast with all of the delicacies you've picked up through the day. The upstairs kitchen is fully-equipped, and there is a small secondary kitchen downstairs. Once the meal is ready, it can be enjoyed inside, or you could take it to the outdoor dining table and eat under the sun or the stars.
The outdoor area of this home is a true gem and no doubt where you will spend the majority of your time. Mornings can be spent watching the world wake up from the comfortable seats with your tea or coffee, all while eyeing up the sun lounger you will claim today. With a large private pool, complete with a diving board, guest both young and old will be swimming till their fingers and toes prune. Thankfully, you never have to go inside as there's a full bathroom out here, as well as a barbecue for when you get hungry. It truly is bliss.
The villa is nestled amongst lush greenery, just a short 3-minute drive or 15-minute walk from Casarano (1.6km). Enjoy beautiful lanes, tasty restaurants, local bakeries, and the odd bar for an aperitif. There's also a food market, post office, and a hospital. Centrally located, it's just a short drive to the coast, with one of the closest beaches Spiaggia di Punta della Suina (16km) offering the perfect place to take a dip. Gallipoli is also nearby, with beaches and a history-rich town to explore.
