Dairy Cottage is a lovely two bedroom holiday home comfortably sleeping up to four guests and situated within easy driving distance of the beautiful North Devon Coastline and Exmoor National Park.

Dairy Cottage located at Wheel Farm near Combe Martin is a lovely pet friendly cottage set over one level making it ideal for less mobile guests. Whilst staying at the complex, guests can benefit from a number of onsite communal leisure facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, a tennis court, a children's play area, extensive grounds and a dog walking field.

Perfect for either couples or families this character cottage is the ideal retreat for those looking for a relaxing break in the countryside but remaining within easy access of local amenities. It can also be booked on its own or in conjunction with other cottages located at Wheel Farm. For couples staying outside of the peak season, reduced occupancy rates are available.

Dairy Cottage is a lovely barn conversion and retains many of its character features, including wood beams and exposed stone walls. There is an open plan living area, which is separated into a lounge area complete with TV, a dining area and a modern kitchen, which is equipped to a good standard, including an electric oven with hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a slow cooker and a fridge.

The two bedrooms at the cottage are a double and a bunk room. Both bedrooms have storage space and share the family bathroom, which is fitted with a bath/shower, a wash-basin and a WC.

There is plenty of outdoor space, guests are welcome to use the picnic tables at the front of the cottage in the central courtyard. There are plenty of lawned areas and further grounds to explore.

Dairy Cottage is located just a couple of miles away from the coastal town of Combe Martin, which has plenty of facilities for guests to take advantage of including several shops, pubs and restaurants. The town also has its own beach, which is great for rock pooling, as well as some water sports, including kayaking.

Walkers will love the cottage's location as the South West Coast Path can be easily picked up in nearby Combe Martin, where you climb the two Hangman hills, or walk the coast to Hunter's Inn and Heddon's Mouth.

For families, the award winning Woolacombe Beach is only a short drive away and is perfect for those with young children. This gorgeous three mile golden sands beach is patrolled by lifeguards from Easter through to the end of October and holds a blue flag attesting to its clean water. Many water sports are available at the beach including surfing lessons for those looking to learn the sport. For experienced surfers, Croyde and Saunton are just a few miles further along the coast.

Exmoor National Park is also only a 10 minute drive from the cottage and is ideal for a day out in the countryside. The park is home to several excellent pubs where in the winter months you will find roaring fires. In the warmer months discover one of the many tea rooms and enjoy a delicious cream tea.

One dog/pet is welcome at Dairy Cottage. There is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Please notify us at time of booking, and the additional charge will be added to your booking. All payments must be made prior to arrival.

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
Electric car charging is available in the car park. There are additional charges payable on arrival - charged at £30 per week and £20 per long weekend.
