Description

If you love the peaceful life and nature, but also prefer to leave the car on the estate from time to time when you need to quickly head to the supermarket or are going to a restaurant, then Villa "Ca na Rosa" is your perfect holiday home! The beautifully kept little house, for up to seven people, was constructed on the outskirts of little small resort of Selva atop a hill, in the rural north of the island. Despite being close to the neighbours, it offers a great deal of privacy. In the lovingly designed garden, complete with lush green laws and thick hedgerows to prevent you from being overlooked, you can cool off anytime in the saltwater pool, which also features a gentle set of stairs. Afterwards, why not soak up some vitamin D on one of the comfy sun-loungers whilst letting your gaze (from behind your sunglasses) wander over the wonderful green surroundings? One particular highlight is the separate covered terrace right next to the pool area: the cozy outdoor furniture isn't just perfect for just doing nothing, also boasting a large wooden table, ideal for dining and whiling away the evening hours into the night.

"Ca na Rosa de Selva" gives a bright and friendly impression on the inside, featuring classic, quality furniture. A large number of windows let the typical Mallorcan light in, whilst the either white or pastel-cream colours on the walls contribute to the homely atmosphere. You'll easy be able to sense the loving detail of the interior design here. All rooms have various works of art hand on the walls, from filigree sketches to black and white photography, and the décor items have been carefully chosen with great sensitivity to style. The living and dining areas are open-plan, only separated by a glass door. In the living room, you'll find an enticing upholstered sofa with a number of pretty cushions, as well as matching armchairs and a stool for putting your feet up. It's perfect for watching a nice film in the evening or chatting with friends accompanied by a glass of wine and the flicker of candles in the deko-fireplace – just wonderful! There's a wooden dining table right beside for enjoying the culinary delicacies prepared in the top-quality and spacious kitchen. However, you can also stay in the kitchen, as there's also a large dining table here, and most people feel happiest in the kitchen anyway. There's nothing stopping you from enjoying a hearty breakfast al fresco: the kitchen has direct access onto a large, sunny terrace. Surrounded by the scent of rosemary in pretty little terracotta pots, it's not just a wonderful place to eat – an exciting book in one of the deckchairs might also tickle your fancy. All of the bedroom only serve as to underpin the overall impression you'll have of this townhouse: they're not only beautifully bright with magnificent views of the surrounding nature, but also very clean, well-kept and lovingly designed. The bathrooms are also no less impressive: spotless, thoroughly well furnished, with large windows and exquisite lighting.

Your holiday home lies on the outskirts of the picturesque resort of Selva in the north of the island. The impressive backdrop for the charming resort with its many pretty streets, large church on the Plaça Major and the many lovely houses is the Tramuntana mountain range. Mass tourism hasn't had much of an effect at all in Selva, meaning you can still experience a little piece of authentic Mallorcan life. You certainly shouldn't miss out on the weekly market on Wednesdays, perfect for a wander round – of course you'll find fresh fruit, veg and other delicacies, as well as flowers, clothes and local crafts. Those who fancy a greater variety of shops, restaurants and cafés need only drive to Inca from Selva – Mallorca's third largest town is only 6.5 km away. The northern side of the Tramuntana mountains offers unspoilt nature, easy to get to from Selva on foot or by bike. The beach and sea can be found only 35 minutes away by car in Alcúdia.
