Description

Attention, pool fanatics! This rambling villa in a rural location includes a fine specimen of a childproof, separable pool surrounded by greenery, where you will want to spend all day and night! In addition to the stately size, there is also a covered lounge with a dining table. Surrounded by glass, it also includes a cuddle corner, sun loungers on wooden decking, an outdoor BBQ kitchen and an outdoor bathroom within reach, all creating a proper beach bar atmosphere. Over a century old, the house has two floors, a car port and plenty of character. The renovation has suited the villa well, without losing any of its charming old features. The many terraces in front of the house, beneath the palm trees, and on the balcony mean you are never sitting on top of one another, and you aren’t disturbed if it gets a bit louder around the pool. Two separate areas make being on holiday together so much easier! Enjoy the stunning views across the hills of the Llevant from wherever you feel most comfortable.

This old señora has plenty of tradition, but when it comes to her interior she really mixes things up. No-nonsense modern design in the ground floor living room, a flat screen on the wall, colour schemes ranging from green to violet in the smaller, airy five double bedrooms, three of which are located on the first floor (the ground floor also houses a triple room with bunk bed and single bed). From the blue boudoir, small decorative stairs lead up onto the magnificent roof terrace to greet the sun. The villa has three smart bathrooms (two downstairs, one upstairs), in part with a rain shower or a tub, while the small outdoor bathroom provides modern comfort. 100 years ago, you would probably have had to wash outside by the well. Traditional features are upheld in the large open-plan kitchen with its gas cooker and XXL-sized fireplace, which almost resembles a banquet hall. The space allows you read the newspaper undisturbed, meet for a coffee and picture yourself living in another era. "Can Setri" is simply endearing and representative of its surroundings.

From trendy to old school Mallorca, from absolute tranquility to mingling with the crowd: The popular east coast of the island has a bit of everything. In the quaint village of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, called San Lorenzo for short, you’ll find an interesting mixture of businesses and restaurants, so you don’t have to venture into Manacor and city life. Immerse yourself completely in the Mediterranean landscape – serenity, relaxation, hikes and cycling tours between the hills will recharge your batteries. And if you prefer things to be more touristy and lively, there are shopping and party areas, cave mazes, harbours and beach bays such as the Playa de Sa Coma between the Cap d’es Pinar (north) and the Punta de sa Roca (south), offering sun, sea and celebrations. Plenty of activities to tell a good story or two when you return home…
