Description

The Gennadi Region started out as a small fishing village and a vast stretch of sandy beach hidden away in the depths of southern Rhodes, and has blossomed into an upmarket spot with trendy boutique hotels popping up and plenty of smart modern villas all surrounded by open countryside. Ibiscus has a prime location situated just outside the village, with splendid sea views to enjoy and a short walk to restaurants and shops.Brand new, the stylish two bedroom villa is not short on design and flair throughout, with a lovely larger- than- average swimming pool for a villa this size, steps graduating into the pool and a pool terrace to sit back and admire the vistas. There is a barbecue on hand for plenty of outdoor catering and the one level villa makes everyting easy to move inside and out, so the main living, dining and kitchen areas have patio doors opening onto pool patio and the bedrooms each have en suite shower rooms. The easy 10 minute walk into the village meets the first square with the general mini-market for essentials and further on amongst winding narrow lanes a second square has traditional tavernas offering a variety of cuisines. A further 10 minute walk down to the beach has a few beach-side eateries , then take your pick of which part of Gennadi beach you fancy - sunloungers and umbrellas on one side or a simple towel on the sand, with a beach this long; sand, shingle and pebbles all merge into each other. Even further south is the unique Prasonissi beach, a spit of sand that has the sea on both sides and is a mecca for extreme sports enthusiasts - the thermal currents making windsurfing and kitesurfing popular. With Lindos and Pefkos a 20 minute drive away there's lots ot explore - or stay put and chill out! Please note new photos have replaced the previous generic images.
