About 9 km from Pieve Santo Stefano is this spacious holiday home with private pool, set on the southern slopes of the Apennines. The former farmhouse was restored in a rustic style and lovingly furnished; its nine bedrooms are distributed over three floors and two buildings, some with separate entrance. The center of the accommodation is the large covered terrace overlooking the valley, where you can enjoy outdoor dining in any weather - grilling on the large barbecue and pizza in the stone oven (available on request; wood against payment) should not be missed, too. The house owner lives in a separate part of the house and is at your disposal with help and advice, she can also cook local specialties (truffles!) for you. Own produced products can be purchased on site. Only about 50 m above is the private fenced pool area, with sun terrace, pool house and wide views of the untouched forest landscape. Everywhere there are hiking trails and for bikers the area is a special fun - here you can choose between the Natural Park of Casentino and that of Sasso Simone - both worthwhile destinations! On horseback you can enjoy this beautiful landscape - riding stable (10 km). You can also swim in the Tiber, at the waterfall at 5 km (a real fun for the kids) - or relax in the warm thermal baths of Bagno di Romagna (20 km). In the area you can visit nice medieval towns: Caprese Michelangelo with the artist's birthplace and good restaurants (18 km), Sansepolcro, the birthplace of Piero della Francesca with picture gallery, dome, large weekly market (22 km), the picturesque hill town of Anghiari (29 km); Arezzo (60 km) and Perugia (90 km) can be reached within an hour's drive, as well as the Adriatic coast for a nice day at the sea of Cesenatico (80 km). In Pieve Santo Stefano you will find grocery shops, trattorias, wine shops, bars and shops.
