Description

From time to time, you will hear the soft sound of the bells that the sheep wear as they peacefully graze around the property - but you won't have to worry about other neighbours: villa "Casa Sangura" is situated on a hillside and south-facing location in a quiet valley on the eastern part Mallorca. The pretty house features sunny and covered terraces, each lovingly decorated with plants and equipped with inviting outdoor furniture, on the ground floor as well as a rooftop terrace with an ocean view and is the only building on a huge estate in the middle of a truly dreamlike landscape. A few steps lead from the house to the sloped pool. After enjoying the refreshing coolness, you can settle down on one of the comfortable sun loungers and relax while letting your gaze drift: pure nature as far as the eye can see. However, based on experience, lounging around gets a bit boring for active children – instead, they can wonderfully let off steam on the lawns around the pool.

Large windows let the light filter in everywhere: this gives "Casa Sangura" its bright, open, and welcoming interior. The many beautiful furnishings made of dark African wood, which the owners of the villa have brought back from their stays in East Africa, create a special atmosphere. They perfectly complement the relaxing, modern living ambience that will envelop you upon entering the house. On the ground floor, you will find a guest toilet as well as a single spacious living area which is divided into a kitchen equipped with high-quality appliances – you can enjoy an impressive view of the landscape while washing the dishes –, the dining table with chairs and discreet lighting, as well as the living room with an elegant pillar, a cosy sofa, and a brick fireplace. All three bedrooms, each fitted with very beautiful, original wooden beds, are located on the top floor and can be reached via a modern staircase. The two luxurious bathrooms, one of them en-suite, are also on the upper floor.

Do you enjoy taking walks? Do you love long hikes or cycling tours over hill and dale? Then what are you waiting for? Your holiday home is the ideal starting point, because the surrounding landscape is simply overwhelmingly beautiful. The next town of Sant Llorenç is great for shopping, but also much more than that. You only need to drive about 2.4 km with your hire car, along the road that may be audible depending on the wind direction. The little village, established in the 16th century, boasts great, distinguishing architecture and an authentic Mallorcan flair which thankfully hasn't made any compromises to appeal to the tourism industry to date. When you walk through the village, the many old windmills, carefully maintained and cared for by the municipality, will particularly catch your eye. The baroque church on the village square is definitely worth a visit. If you'd prefer to visit the sea, you can drive about 11.2 km to the sandy beach of Sa Marjal, which not only scores points with its waves and dunes, but also has a good infrastructure including a beach bar and sunshade hire.
