This charming stone cottage provides the perfect getaway for a family or small gathering of friends.Situated in tranquil Seggiano, the location exudes peace and tranquility. Olive trees cover the surrounding hills and the view is particularly captivating at sunset when the crimson sun dips below the horizon blanketing everything in a rosy glow.
Decorated with great care and attention to detail, the owners have blended rustic and contemporary furnishings creating a relaxed, intimate environment with lots of comfortable spaces for socialising.
The outdoor pool area is divine, with a view that extends for miles around and a covered gazebo that provides shade from the sun.
There are plasma screen TVs in several rooms including the living room, and large couches for everyone to congregate in the evening for a film. There are also plenty of spots outdoors to sit under the shade, including a lovely pair of swinging benches.

For a smaller gathering, there is no property more appropriate than Villa Ciana. It is perfect for escaping the daily grind and unwinding.

- Seggiano (2.6 km) – the medieval town of Seggiano is delightful with rosemary and irises peeking out from ancient stone walls and quaint flower-adorned cottages lining the streets. The four churches are worth a visit and there is also an olive oil museum to explore. There is a supermarket, bank, pharmacy, post office, high-quality restaurants and bars all in town.
- Castel del Piano (9 km) is a mountain village with a tiny medieval town tucked away at its centre where there are streets narrow enough to shake hands across. Boasting robust authentic mountain food, try the veal with truffles. This is a foodie's paradise with four out of every five shops greengrocers', and dishes built around the freshest-of-fresh ingredients including wild fungi, figs and peaches.
- Arcidosso (11.9 km) – Due to its calorie-density and versatility the humble chestnut was a staple food for the people in the cool mountain villages and every Autumn Arcidosso celebrates the nut by hosting a fabulous Chestnut Festival with food stands in the old town.
