Description

Villa Rosanna is a stunning contemporary six bedroomed Villa designed by Italian architect Gianfranco Fili. Enjoying a fabulous spot within the prestigious Casa de Campo resort next to La Romana on the southeastern side of the Dominican Republic, this is the perfect choice for groups, families and golf lovers looking for luxury and style in a tropical paradise. Casa de Campo is a fantastic complex featuring three excellent golf courses, a private beach and beach club, first-class dining options, and many other activities. Villa Rosanna embraces minimal living at its best. With an ultra-modern feel and clever design features, the property radiates an ambience of tranquillity, space and calm. With high vaulted ceilings, huge glass windows and a palate of whites and neutrals against natural woods and cool tiles, the property offers beautiful views over the Dye Fore Golf Course and a seamless indoor-outdoor design. The vast open-style living and dining space flawlessly opens out onto an expansive terrace overlooking the glittering pool area. Inside, the living space invites comfort and tranquillity, with oversized squashy sofas and chic lounging chairs to relax in. Casual dining can be enjoyed at the large wood table with benches in front of sliding glass doors open completely to give that ‘al fresco’ dining experience. The separate, more formal dining room with elegant lighting is a lovely setting for lively dinner parties and fabulous feasts. The stylish contemporary kitchen is a chef’s dream, with oodles of space and plenty of storage. Equipped with all the mod cons, this huge kitchen has two islands and a breakfast bar. Entertainment is on hand with a luxury cinema room which doubles as a great chill-out space with comfy loungers and ample seating for those quiet moments. Each of the spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms is simple, elegant and stylish. The master bedroom has an enormous four-poster king-size bed, a majestic Bathroom and a delightful private patio area offering further privacy. The second bedroom is an airy king-size bedroom, and the other four bedrooms feature two queen-size beds. All bedrooms have delightful en-suite modern bathrooms and direct access to the terrace. Villa Rosanna offers gorgeous outside space. The elegant covered terrace with hanging cushioned egg chairs looks onto the dazzling pool area, which is surrounded by lush gardens and swaying palm trees. The large inviting pool is framed by a large chic terrace strewn with comfy oversized loungers, and if you enjoy bubbles, maybe unwind with a glass of fizz in the Jacuzzi. Poolside is an elegant gazebo with a lovely dining space and open bar area perfect for party evenings and outdoor fun in the sun. Villa Rosanna is fully staffed. Your chef is there to prepare wonderful meals, be it a delicious barbecue or fine dining, and your waiter can deal with creating fabulous cocktails for those impromptu party nights. You will also have a housekeeper at hand so you can relax.

Blessed with around 300 days of sunshine, the Dominican Republic is one of the most diverse countries in the Caribbean. It occupies the eastern two-thirds of Hispaniola, the second-largest island of the Greater Antilles chain in the Caribbean Sea. As well as expansive sugary sandy beaches lined with palm trees and a stunning turquoise sea, this beautiful island boasts dramatic scenery, including rainforests, mountains, mangrove lagoons, waterfalls and colonial towns. There is a distinct ‘Latino’ flavour to the Dominican Republic, and you will be hooked on the Latin rhythms of the Merengue music and dance, which is so ingrained in the Dominican culture it now boasts its own national public holiday! Located on the Southeast side of the Dominican Republic next to the town of La Romana and just 70 miles from the capital city of Santo Domingo, Casa De Campo is one of the most exclusive destinations in the Dominican Republic, and Villa Rosanna enjoys a fantastic location within walking distance of the vibrant Marina within the beautiful gated ocean side community. This prestigious resort offers privacy and luxury in abundance. It offers a wealth of world-class facilities, including three golf courses, an equestrian centre, a shooting club, a yacht club and a tennis centre. There is a wonderful spa, fitness centre, and a great selection of bars and restaurants. At the heart of the complex is the beautiful private Minitas Beach and the wonderful lively marina, which is a great spot to wine, dine and shop or simply stroll and look at the amazing array of fabulous boats. Casa de Campo is widely considered one of the world’s leading golf resorts featuring three excellent golf courses designed by the renowned golf course architect Pete Dye. The world-ranked Teeth of the Dog Golf Course is the most recognised course in the Caribbean and, alongside the outstanding Dye Fore and The Links Golf Course, offers breathtaking vistas across stunning tropical landscapes towards the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Whether a newbie or championship level, your golfing experience will be unforgettable. Perched high above the Chavon River and overlooking the golf courses of Casa De Campo is the village of Altos de Chavon. Built-in 1982 as a culture centre for the Dominican people, Altos de Chavon replicates a Mediterranean-style village of the 16th century. The views are breathtaking, and you can enjoy beautiful buildings, squares, shops and cafes alongside a cultural centre, archaeological museum and roman style amphitheatre, which regularly hosts top music artists. This is a lovely place to see local artists showcase their unique creations or simply relax with a sundowner or two and enjoy the ambience of this pretty village. Casa de Campo offers every type of water sport, so whether you want a day out deep sea fishing or sailing or want to try paddle surfing on the Caribbean Sea, this can be easily organised. For a taste of history and culture, Santo Domingo is worth visiting. The Capital City is the oldest city in the new world and is home to the hemisphere’s first monastery, Monasterio de San Francisco and America’s oldest surviving cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor. The Zona Colonial area is rich in history and has wonderful food options. For a chance to escape the hustle of the city, head to the beautiful 3 Eyes National Park, which offers a great combination of caves, lakes and nature.
