Set on one level, Villa Mangues provides a homely and spacious place for guests to relax, dine together and enjoy the sun. The fully equipped kitchen includes plenty of prep space and appliances, as well as an open-plan living and dining room with garden and pool view.

The three double bedrooms feature their own private en-suite bathrooms. There is also a twin bedroom with bunk beds that would be perfect for groups travelling with children. All of the bedrooms have been finished to a high standard, creating a private haven for guests to relax and get a good nights' sleep.

Outside, a sparkling blue pool sits centre-stage among the large and manicured lawns. Guests will find plenty of sun lounges to relax on, and the garden area is vast and perfect for outdoor play. There is also a lovely outdoor BBQ/dining area, where guests can prepare and enjoy alfresco delicious meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner. For those who wish to hire a car, the villa comes with private parking.

Praia do Salgado beach is just 900m away, meaning guests can wander leisurely down to the golden sands, and spend a lazy day by the sea. The Silver coast, stretching between Lisbon and Porto, is famous for its unspoiled nature and pristine white beaches. Portugal's Silver Coast boasts a number of beaches with waves suited to surfers of all levels, as well as surfing competitions. Villa Mangues is located just 900m from the quiet Praia do Salgado beach, a long and broad stretch of sand within Casal Do Salgado.

Other famous beaches along the silver coast include Santa Cruz, Baleal and Nazare; all sharing the impossibly blue sea and glorious white sand. Portugal's Silver Coast boasts a number of beaches with waves suited to surfers of all levels, as well as surfing competitions.

During your stay, you have an excellent choice of day trips within easy reach of Villa Mangues. As well as a mecca for world-class surfers, the nearby town of Peniche is a hotspot for tourists wanting to visit the historical relics left behind since its time as a royal fortress and fishing port, the latter still active today. Be sure to sample the freshly caught seafood in a local restaurant at lunchtime.

Praia de Sa?o Martinho do Porto is just a short drive away, with numerous restaurants and Watersports activities, this bustling area will have something for everyone. Key to the growing success of the Silver Coast has been the development of resorts like Praia Del Rey, Bom Successo and Royal Obidos Spa and Golf resort. Excellent golf, wonderful beaches and an excellent climate have all helped to increase the popularity of Silver Coast holiday rentals and Portugal villa holidays.

Obidos, a small but charming town, is just twenty-minutes away by car. A morning's sightseeing can include a walk around the town walls, a visit to the twelfth-century castle and trip to see the beautifully tiled Porta da Vila chapel.

Also inland, Caldas da Rainha has been visited by tourists for hundreds of years, attracted by its natural springs and restorative hydrotherapy spa. A pretty garden and lake now occupy the site of what used to be a thermal hospital. Take in the Museu de Ceramica to learn more about Caldas da Rainha's ceramics heritage before heading back to Villa Mangues.
