Villa Damia, Directly On The Lake

Villa Damia is an independent small villa directly nestled on the center of Lake Como. The villa is situated on the widest spot of the Lake, where the distance between the two branches is maximum.
An attractive lakefront garden welcomes guests into the cosy atmosphere of the villa. The house is on two floors and features exclusively brand new furniture.
Once guests have walked through the entrance door, they will find a comfortable bright living room, with a large L-shaped sofa, a pleasant fireplace and a lake-view dining area with Full-HD TV. The big window culminates on the large terrace suspended on the lake.
Climbing the wooden spiral staircase, guests access the bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed. The view is beautiful and a gentle breeze coming from the ample upper terrace refreshes the room. The bathroom with ample shower is right next to the bedroom.
The private garden boasts characteristics small lamp posts to light the lake front promenade (25 metres).

Menaggio

Menaggio is a picturesque village nestled in the centre of Lake Como. It is a historical lake side town, a must for European nobles and literates during the Grand Tour. The town has many quaint neighbourhoods which extend north along the lake and up into the green hills and valleys. Menaggio offers stunningly beautiful views of Lake Como and the majestic mountains which surround it, overlooked by the Alps to the North. It is in this area where the most delightful and elegant villas are located, Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello, Villa Serbelloni, Villa Melzi.

In Menaggio you can find a fine selection of restaurants, delis, fresh grocers and of course delicious gelato and pizza. Elegant boutiques and charming shops selling articles made by local artisans are a must for shopping-lovers. During the summer the area boasts fantastic opportunities for many activities including mountain biking, cycling, horse riding, walking, tennis, many water sports including kite surfing, fishing and golf at the historic Mennagio & Cadenabbia Golf Club. The Ferries run from Menaggio to both the North and South of Lake Como making it an ideal centre for sightseeing.
