The Battaglia farmhouse is located in the historic center of the village of Villamassargia. The family-run structure offers large and functional rooms in rustic style with wood carvings and exposed beams. All rooms are equipped with Wirelles connection, private bathroom, air conditioning. The awakening is cheered by the tranquility of the place and by the scent of the freshly prepared breakfast.
The customer can opt to rent the room in the village, in the center of the square; or at the livestock farm of the BATTAGLIA farmhouse in the mountains, in a panoramic and secluded location at 600 meters above sea level.
At the Agriturismo Battaglia, by reservation, you can taste typical and genuine dishes of the Sardinian Barbaric and local tradition; not only that, but for customers who stay, there are free guided tours with the owners, on their own organic farm (immersed in an intimate, unspoiled environment, a magical place where cattle are raised in the wild).
From the Agriturismo Battaglia it is possible to reach the sea and beaches: Portopino, Le Dune, Masua, Pan di Zucchero, Sant'Antioco, Calasetta .. etc.
Upon customer request, upon reservation it is possible to:
- excursions by off-road vehicle, mountain bike, motorbike, on foot;
- spend the typical day of the goatherd and shepherd of the past, endangered activities;
- relaxing paths at sunrise and sunset, grazing with cattle on the farm's wild paths;
- didactic school lessons: cheese and ricotta, ham, honey and various courses to be personalized with the customer.
