The town of Pietraperzia is only a few kilometers away and here you will find the ruins of Barresi Branciforti Castle, while Mazzarino (25 km) houses the remains of a 12th-century castle. The nearest beach is in Manfria (45 km) and in less than 1 hour you can reach both Catania and Agrigento, with its world-famous Valley of the Temples. The house is accessed via an 800 m dirt track road.
