The house was designed by the renowned Brazilian architect, Eduardo Anahory, known for his creativity with cliffside locations. Casa Cabo Branco was built in 1974 and has a timeless post modernist quality to it and takes up an extremely privileged position above the cliffs of the western Serra de Sintra, overlooking the stunning Guincho beach.

The scenic route to the property evolves into a mesmerising climax, where on arrival one can fully appreciate the simplistic architecture which blends harmoniously into the natural rocky outcrop overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The driveway has parking for 2 vehicles within the gates and plenty of space for visitors outside.

The front entrance opens into a welcoming hallway with stairs leading up to the heart of the house on the left, a very spacious living and dining area. The large wrap around sofa area sits plenty of guests with a sunken fireplace to warm the colder evenings and a large flat screen smart TV with full wifi capability to enjoy your media needs. A dining table that seats up to a maximum of 10 guests complements the social hub of the house. Four large sliding glass patio doors bring the glorious view and light into the room whilst keeping the Atlantic breezes out. Opposite the patio door an open galley style kitchen, recently modernised with the latest in kitchen appliances reflects the ease of preparing meals whilst keeping the social setting alive. To the left of the Kitchen is a pantry and access to the front hall down some steps and to the right of the kitchen there is twin bedroom, whilst further stairs lead down to a basement with a tv room and a bathroom. The TV room has a sofa bed that can be turned into a small double.

The bedroom wing to the right of the living and dining area is split on three levels. The first level has the master suite with a double bed. Adjoining is a bathroom with rock wall accents that brings the outside in, whilst you can soak away the days activities in a bathtub with a view that you will never forget. Further down the stairs are another two twin rooms with a shared bathroom, Completing sleeping arrangements for up to 8 - 10 guests.

Through the large patio doors, a spacious wooden deck surrounds the swimming pool with multiple levels of gardens below offering relaxing spots to soak up the mesmerising views. A covered conservatory patio in the lee of the house allows one to escape the Northerly winds when they decide to blow and allows you to enjoy the sheltered BBQ in all weathers that the Atlantic Ocean brings to this wild and wonderful coast.

With Cascais in full view and only twenty minutes by car, Casa Cabo is ideally situated to visit the calmer Cascais Riviera and the wilder coast to the north of cabo de Roca. It is also a great place to start exploring the back roads of the Serra de Sintra and all the magical places waiting to be discovered.
