Description

A Very warm welcome to my lovely cottage villa. Cerro Brae is, as its name implies, on the brow of a hill offering fabulous panoramic views of more than 180 degrees toward the El Chorro range in the west.

Originally a traditional farmhouse accompanied by two smaller cottages within an acre of grounds. The other cottages are only used by the owner which usually means you will have sole use of the 10 meter pool.

For country lovers who want to relax by the pool or adventurers who will take advantage of the myriad of activities available in the area, Cerro Brae is a great location. Rock climbing, bird watching, walking, kayaking, wild swimming are just a few items on offer in the area.

The Finca or farm house briefly comprises of two bedrooms, one of which is a king and the other a twin. Large kitchen dining area and log burner in the comfortable lounge. There are various areas outside that lend themselves to entertaining; a covered pergola, a terrace and pool terrace.

Within a 5 minute car drive is the hamlet of Pastelero where you can find two very good eateries and a bakery. For your bigger shop, Villanueva De La Concepcion is just about 15 minutes drive. Go in the mornings and find a warren of shops and cafes that at other times appear to be closed. Generally opening times are 8.30am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm for the local Dia supermarket. There are many supermarkets, shops and cultural interests such as the Castle in Antequera which is just over 40 minutes away.

I hope we have thought of everything to make this holiday special for you. A well equipped kitchen, sun loungers and a ring side view to watch the goat herds meander across the valleys. The owner Anne-Cathrine will be on hand to help in any way during your stay.

Cerro Brae is located up a steep hill and then down a short rough track.
Anne-Cathrine can come to Pastelero to guide you if you wish. I do in any event advise a careful drive for the last section.
