Description

For those of you thinking about how you could spend your next holiday, you will find a wealth of ideas worth considering here. Beside location, facilities and price there are obviously also basic considerations of whether you would like an individual holiday, and if so, then whether you are going to spend that holiday with several people or whether you would rather go it alone. If you could well imagine organising a villa holiday – maybe as a "first-timer" or as a "repeat offender"– either with friends or with family, then the spectacular villa "Benet", might just be your perfect holiday destination. The rustic and yet still ultramodern villa will delight you with the typical Mallorcan character displayed by this building, built in undressed stone and possessing a quite magnificent outdoor area. At the same time, it will impress you with help of facilities chosen with the utmost comfort in mind, which will immediately instil anyone visiting the house with the feeling that they have well and truly arrived.

The outdoor area alone is downright spectacular. The paved terraced area begins by the house with the extremely spacious covered terrace, which grants shade and protection from the elements, and also includes the brilliant pool landscape together with the sun terrace and the outdoor kitchen with BBQ area. The result is a magnificent ensemble where you will be more than happy to spend the majority of the day on one of the 12 outdoor seating spots during summery temperatures. Chill on one of the 6 sun loungers after a long dip in the pool, which varies in depth between 1.30 and 2 m. If needed, you can also lie under one of the two parasols, which is an enjoyable experience in itself. Alternatively, you could also begin your programme for the day with breakfast together as a group at the grand dining table that is situated on the covered terrace, which is very inviting thanks to its comfy, poly-rattan chairs. From time to time we would definitely recommend that you read a book in the outlying lounge area, or prepare a sumptuous BBQ in the spacious outdoor kitchen, complete with oven, ceramic hobs and grill. You could even use fresh products that can be purchased, for example, at the market in Artà. Perhaps you could form a team at the ping-pong table. The possibilities are numerous and diverse, so that you can organise a rich and varied day, even as a group.

At the same time, the generous spacing of the house also allows for individual guests to withdraw and enjoy some privacy. The furnishing of the friendly villa with its sash windows is cheerful and welcoming. A great mix of exquisite, antique-style, dark wood furniture, whitewashed walls and exposed wood beam ceilings all combine with the modern fittings, such as the light sofas and the magnificent living room/kitchen with dark wood furniture, in order to create a wonderful sense of unity. From the living room you enter the semi-open kitchen and dining area. The kitchen's cupboards are brick-built, which helps them frame the dark wooden doors. It goes without saying that this kitchen is fully-furnished, including a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, ceramic hobs, a coffee machine, and much more.

The cosy bedrooms, which, like the ground floor, have large-scale, natural brown floor tiles, have been designed with bright walls and provide you with more than enough storage space – either for clothes brought along or your newly acquired holiday wardrobe. 2 of the three bedrooms are both fitted with 2 comfortable single beds, while the third is furnished with a double bed. The chic bathrooms, prettily decorated with white tiling and contrasted with grey, beige and delicate blue hues – are all fitted with a bathtub and/or a shower. In addition to the numerous seating areas on the terrace, you can also enjoy equally fabulous views over the lush green landscape whilst you are on the covered balcony situated on the upper floor- the pleasant villa "Benet" itself is actually situated in the midst of a great many trees and overlooks the rolling hills of the Llevant mountain range, which stretches across Artà and Capdepera and goes all the way to the coast. On Capdepera's coastline, you will find steep cliffs beside shallow coves and brilliant, natural sandy beaches such as the Cala Mesquida. Between the two quaint little towns of Artà and Capdepera, with their natural charm, you will find the highly recommendable villa "Benet" in fantastically secluded surroundings. Despite the absolutely peaceful and glorious secluded location, staying here does not mean having to go without local amenities. There are shopping facilities of all kinds, all of which are within easy reach: be it the market, the fresh vegetable market that is open all day or a supermarket. Your conscious decision to self-cater will therefore be a genuinely enjoyable experience. Whilst you are shopping, don't forget to take a break in one of the picture-perfect cafes in Artà and enjoy a Cortado in the sun, or maybe have a good browse in one the dainty boutique shops. If you've seen enough to be as convinced as we are that the villa "Benet" truly is a fantastic offer, then we at Fincallorca would like to wish you a fulfilling holiday to come.
