Description
Lo Castellet is a **cottage** situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla.
This beautiful part of the Spanish Mediterranean, known as the Gold Coast, is famous for its mountains sweeping down to golden sandy beaches.
**Costa Dorada** has a unique climate that is warm in summer and mild in winter.
L'Ampolla is a fishing village that has happily avoided being a tourist destination. Famed through-out the Costa Dorada for its cuisine, the oysters, razor clams and fish all come straight from the waters of the bay. While it does have a gentle pace of life with great beaches, there is still jet ski rental and boat hire for fishing, beach volleyball tournaments and a summer season night-club, music concerts and festivals to provide lots of interesting variety.
**Lo Castellet** is a rural eco-villa that uses solar panels for energy and offers **incredible views of the whole coastline** from the terraces and gardens but is just 5 km to the centre of the village of l'Ampolla. The property has a large modern kitchen on the ground floor with a utility room, an open plan dining area and lounge with comfortable sofas, wide screen TV, digital channels which in turn leads onto a spacious patio and **pool** which is dotted with sun lounges plus an outdoor summer kitchen and barbecue. There is also a conservatory on the ground floor that leads onto the main courtyard of the cottage. Entry is through automatic gates for both a car and also separate, pedestrian access. Altogether there are four large bedrooms. There is one double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds on the ground floor that share a bathroom while upstairs there are a further two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and balconies. The cottage has mosquito nets and fans so leaving the windows open and allowing a fresh breeze to permeate the house is no problem. Wi-Fi is included.
