Across the property, you will love the open-plan feel of the interior and its centrepiece, a spectacular, large arch, with living, dining and cooking areas all furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Torre del Cielo's magic and style extends into its garden as you will discover as you explore along the delightful, plant-lined stone steps, with lawns providing eye-catching views of surrounding olive groves and forests, a furnished pergola that is the perfect spot for al fresco dining, and a private pool with the added bonus of a luxurious Jacuzzi.

Our Thoughts

We think Torre del Cielo will fire your imagination: its unusual tower suite, decorative stone fireplace, high-end wooden furnishings, they all compete for your attention. This is a substantial property but the small details make it all the more special, such as the little recesses for books and snug lighting in the lounge and bedrooms. At the end of the day, the low-lighting around the pool really comes into its own, creating an intensely atmospheric setting augmented by the scent of lavender released as the sun sets.

Notes

Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, all en-suite. The villa comprises two floors plus an additional and adjacent tower suite. A welcome buffet on arrival is included in the cost. Use of the outdoor Jacuzzi, which is by the pool, must be booked in advance by guests, see additional costs. Guests can fish at the private lake near the villa, bring your own equipment, and there is five hours' use of the local tennis court in Monterchi included in the price, again bring your own racquets and balls.

A private chef can be booked, only on request and with owner confirmation.

Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms.



Pool

The pool is on a slightly higher level of the garden and is surrounded on two sides by a hedge. There is also a neighbouring Jacuzzi within a gazebo. Sun loungers with overhead shades and parasols are provided on the surrounding terracotta deck, plus there is a sofa and two chairs arranged around a coffee table on the lawn. The water is entered by ladder steps. Pool size: 11m x 6m, 1.5m deep. The pool is open from mid-April until mid-October, weather permitting.
