Sleeping six in three bedrooms with three bathrooms, this single storey terracotta-toned villa is ideal for families with young children or older relatives, with everything laid out on one level. Characterful, light-filled interiors include traditional Tuscan touches, with wooden beams and terracotta tiles throughout. The large open-plan living-dining-cooking space guarantees a sociable atmosphere. Outside, a few steps from the rear of the house, you’ll find your private pool in an elevated hillside position, surrounded by the olive groves of La Pieve estate. The covered wooden pergola here is likely to be the scene of many enjoyable al fresco meals.

Our Thoughts

Stay at Oleandro and you will feel little inclination to leave the villa or its lovely grounds. Inside, there are plenty of glass-paned doors and windows framing the view and the rustic stone fireplace means you can add a little warmth on cooler nights. The outside space is a favourite with our guests for its far-reaching views over the hills and to the valley below. That tantalising view of Calci is likely to persuade you away from the pool to its charming streets for a while at least.

Notes

Three bedrooms. Three bathrooms, two en-suite. Pets are allowed (except by the pool)  please contact your booking agent for details and to confirm breed and size. Although Calci is near, a car is recommended for this semi-rural villa.



Please note that the access road to the property is paved, however the last 100 - 500 m (after the gate) is a gravel steep road with a very tight bend. We recommend a high clearance vehicle and an experienced driver or to park just after the gate.

Pool

The pool is surrounded by a terracotta sundeck with tables, sun loungers and a parasol and is entered via metal ladder steps to the far side. This area is partially fenced.

Pool size:  7.5m x 3.5m. 1.5m deep. Open mid May to late September, weather permitting
