Your holiday apartment on totally 3 levels is situated on the smallest of the Borromean islands of the lake Lago Maggiore, the tiny isle called Isola dei Pescatori which consists in a small fisher hamlet with its tiny square and narrow alleys. From the independent entrance on the ground floor the stairs lead up to the 1. floor where you will find the bathroom with shower and the living room with dinner table and kitchen corner which offers direct access onto the large terrace with panoramic view over the lake. Here you can relax and enjoy your outdoor dinners in a romantic atmosphere. On the 2. floor you will find 2 double bedrooms, both with view over the lake, and a WC. Upon request one of the 2 double beds can be transformed into two single beds. The river of the lake with its small pebble beach is at abt. 100 m distance. Important: underneath the apartment you will find a bar and a restaurant! In Stresa the last boat to the isle leaves at 6 pm; for this reason it’s absolutely necessary to meet the key-holder in Stresa before 5.30 pm! The island ist car-free. Next to the apartment you will find a small alimentary shop and in the surroundings some restaurants where you can taste the typical seafood from the lake, bars and pizzerias. The pleasant, small towns of Stresa and Bavena and the other Borromean isles as for instance Isola Bella and Isola Madre with their beautiful antique buildings and gardens can easily reached by boat.
