This upside down detached house, set next door to the owners’ home within their grounds, is situated in a very quiet location deep in the Cornish countryside but only a 10-minute stroll to Perranporth’s mile of golden sand. The raised garden offers fantastic views across the lush valley and is the perfect peaceful spot to relax as the sun sets over the valley.
The beach at Perranporth is simply stunning and has its own beach based and regularly sand locked pub with great beers, food and often live music. The beach boasts excellent surfing and there is a hire shop and surf school right on the sand. A short drive will bring you to Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm, an absolute must for cider lovers. Why not take the tour, watch how it’s made and sample a couple with lunch in the café?
St Agnes, a pretty little coastal village, is also close by and boasts excellent food and pubs, with one even having its own microbrewery. There is also a fish restaurant right next to Trevaunance Beach. The South West Coast Path is an absolute must if it’s walking and views that you want. The stunning views on a good day stretch to St Ives in the west and Holywell Bay in the east.
Newquay, with its cinema, zoo, surf culture, shops, bars and cafés, is approximately 9 miles away, with the coastal villages of Holywell Bay and Crantock tucked between them, making the area the perfect beach location. Truro, the county capital, is just a short drive away and has everything you need including a theatre, cinema, excellent shopping, a Gothic cathedral, river trips and great eateries. A lovely golf course is only a mile away, and there is also horse riding and cycling nearby. Beach 1¼ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ miles.
