Villa Chaparral’s open-plan ground floor is ideally suited to family living and has a light, fresh decor, from the white walls and soft-coloured floor tiles, to the pine dining furniture and kitchen surfaces. The villa’s soft furnishings enjoy the same neutral colour palette, with comfortable, pale grey sofas and cream-coloured armchairs on which to relax and enjoy the Smart TV in the living space. Stylish rugs and artworks throughout provide warming pops of colour and add to Villa Chaparral’s contemporary style. The villa’s kitchen is bursting with high-end modern facilities, including an integrated microwave, American-style fridge-freezer, oven and Vitro ceramic hob, kettle, toaster and juicer. You’ll also find all of the utensils, crockery and glassware you’ll need to prepare busy breakfasts and bustling family meals during your stay - as well as plenty of dining space in which to enjoy it. The villa’s light and neutral colour scheme is carried through into the bedrooms, all of which feature high-end, stylish furniture and beautiful views of the grounds and the Salobre golf course. The twin room can be found on the ground floor and is ideal for younger guests or perhaps those with limited mobility. Another twin room can be found on the first floor, along with a double bedroom that benefits from ensuite shower facilities and a dressing room. From this floor, guests can access the villa’s fully-furnished solarium terrace - the ideal spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or pre-dinner drinks while taking in the views and soaking up the sunshine. The ground floor’s floor-to-ceiling glass doors offer guests direct access to the villa’s terrace and private pool. This wonderfully relaxing space offers guests the option to dine alfresco, with a partially-covered outdoor dining area and barbecue - perfect for enjoying a meal together after a day on the course, taking in the views with a morning coffee, or partaking in some after-dinner drinks under the stars. Villa Chaparral benefits from a private pool with ladder access, and there are plenty of sun-loungers on which to relax once you’ve enjoyed a cooling dip.

Villa Chaparral is located on the Salobre Golf Resort - the only resort in the Canary Islands that combines two eighteen-hole courses on the same site. This beautiful resort really is the toast of the island, featuring the best greens in the region and promising players of all levels a challenging game in a stunning setting. Salobre Golf Resort is just minutes from the high-end resort towns of Maspalomas and Meloneras, so if you fancy leaving the clubs at the villa for the day and heading out to see the sights, you can’t go wrong here! The area is well-known for its vast expanses of coastal dunes, a protected site that covers over a thousand acres. You can explore much of this area on foot, taking in sights such as the beautiful lagoon and lighthouse, but we recommend taking a camel safari for a truly unique and fun way to experience this incredible landscape. The Maspalomas Botanic Garden is an often underrated attraction that is well worth a visit while you’re holidaying in the area. Situated right next to the golf course, this collection of cacti and brightly coloured flowers provides the perfect photo opportunity pit-stop before you head off for a bite to eat - and this is where you’re really about to be spoiled for choice! Both Maspalomas Meloneras is bursting with fantastic seafront restaurants offering a tantalising mix of fantastic views and even better food! If seafood is a particular favourite, you’re in for a treat, but you won’t struggle to find other types of cuisine here, either! The region has a wide range of delicious cuisine on offer, such as pulpo and prawns, grilled calamari, paella, steaks, tapas, burgers and pasta dishes - as well as plenty of bars where you can enjoy cocktails and pre-dinner drinks. There are some fantastic outdoor markets to visit in the area, both during the week and on Saturdays, with stalls selling everything from clothing to fresh produce. You’ll find a wide array of aloe vera products on sale here, as the plant is native to Gran Canaria, so be sure to grab some locally-sourced skincare during your visit! If you’re looking for a higher-end shopping experience, head to Boulevard Faro, where you’ll find well-known labels like La Perla, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger and, if you walk a little further along the seafront, you’ll come to the Bellavista Shopping Centre and El Varadero Shopping Centre, as well as even more cafes, bars and restaurants that offer a welcome break when you can’t carry any more bags!
