Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with panoramic views of Slieve Gullion and the Cooley Mountains, it is an idyllic location to explore Ireland’s Ancient Northeast. Situated halfway between Dublin and Belfast.

The Space

Greenridge Farmhouse is newly refurbished, having originally been built in 1914. It is located in Glassdrummond, Silverbridge, just 3 miles from Crossmaglen. It is only a short 10 minute drive from Dundalk (take Exit 17 Northbound coming from Dublin), 12 mins from Castleblayney and 20 mins from Newry. Located 50 mins from Dublin Airport, 75 mins from Belfast. Perfect for couples, families or groups be your visit for business or pleasure. Stays for family occasions also welcome.

Free WiFi available throughout the house including direct access to free on-demand services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and All 4 on the main TV. Netflix is also accessible on the TV by logging into your account.

Located in an area of immense historical significance and in the heart of ancient Oriel, this is an area which captivated the O’Neill’s who once had a castle situated by Glassdrummond Lake. This part of south Armagh was also a hive for Gaelic poetry and literature and home to Art Mc Cooey, author of the renowned lament ‘Úirchill an Chreagáin’.
