Its lakeside position means beautiful views over the peaceful waters can be enjoyed from the garden side of the villa – and from the attractive garden itself. The decor throughout the living spaces and several bedrooms and bathrooms feature sea blues and greys to reflect the holiday home's surroundings.
Villa Samara is set over one floor and accommodates up to ten people. The open plan living/dining room is spacious and features classic furnishings for an inviting feel. A selection of comfortable sofas and chairs sit around a large television, with a step down to another seating area that has a contemporary fireplace for cosy evenings in. Sitting by patio doors is a small table and chairs, with a larger dining table for meals adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of modern facilities and has a small breakfast bar.
There are five bedrooms in total, with the master bedroom being particularly impressive. It features a double bed, direct access to the outside space and an ensuite bathroom with bathtub. Two bedrooms have a double bed each, one has twin beds and the fourth bedroom features a drawer bed. For use by all guests are two spacious bathrooms with showers.
Outside is a terrace with outdoor dining furniture and a masonry barbecue for al fresco dining, as well as some seating for soaking up the views. Within the bordered garden is a private swimming pool that's surrounded by decking and a selection of sun loungers. Beautiful lawns are the perfect spot for appreciating the tranquil setting of the villa as you sit and watch the flow of the lake. Mature trees and plants create the feeling of a private and exotic oasis.

Troia Beach is the perfect place to take the family for a day out by the sea, as the waters are calm and clear and ideal for swimming. The sands are immaculate and the views of both the ocean and Sado River are stunning. You can enjoy activities such as windsurfing and snorkelling, or simply just relax whilst the children play on the beach. It's also possible to take a boat trip out to try and spot the pod of dolphins that are known to congregate in the area.
Take the ferry to the city of Setubal, a thriving port city with a fascinating historic old town. The journey will take around 30-45 minutes and you'll get treated to some beautiful scenery on the way. The city sits on the edge of the Sado Estuary, with beaches, rolling hills and vineyards surrounding it.
Stroll around the charming shopping streets that can be found near the historic city centre before visiting a few of the religious and cultural attractions there. They include the 15th-century Monastery of Jesus of Setubal and the main plaza of Praca de Bocage. This area is a great place to people watch as you enjoy lunch outside at a terrace cafe or restaurant. The Mercado do Livramento is a lively covered market where you can pick up some fresh local produce. Also be sure to take a walk down the waterfront that eventually leads onto Albarquel Urban Park, a lovely green space with a small stretch of sand adjacent to it.
