The pool terrace is the ideal spot for al fresco dining admiring the lush lawns and colourful plants while a handy barbecue stands to the side of the terrace readly for action! Situated a 10 minute walk from Aghia Pelagia Marina; a further 15 minutes walk along the coastal road rounds onto lovely Ai Helis beach with a beachside taverna for dining out in the evnings under the stars.. The decor inside Xenia is a clever mix of traditional, modern and practical with a touch of French Provencal style thrown in, creating a relaxing, elegant and inviting ambience.. The kitchen is set on the lower ground floor so handy for carrying out salads and snacks along with a studio type twin bedroom with external access that has an ensuite shower room and a kitchnette and leads onto a seperate terrace, also a king size bedroom with an ensuite shower room. The living room is on the ground floor with patio doors opening onto a terrace and a double bedroom and seperate shower room. Xenia villa has another two beaches, Ammos and Avithos closeby and both are worth a visit, the Svoronata region is flat and easy to get about, with simple country lanes criss-crossing the orchards, fields and olive groves that dotted with tavernas and several mini-markets scattered around. The Captial Argostoli is a twenty minute drive with a lively main square, a pedestrianised shopping street and a daily market of fresh fish, vegetables, meat and fruit along the harbourside, great fun to buy everything fresh and cook up a storm back at the villa. Kefalonia has a good reputation for its wineries, and there are several nearby, so why not try a few tastings to see what whets the appetite and goes with the evening meals - what a treat!
