Marga De Cala D'or

Plenty of space and a large swimming pool in front of the door, in the midst of neighbours, but still private and equipped with all the comforts you could wish for on holiday: This is the villa "Marga de Cala d'Or". The resort of Cala d'Or in the "golden bay" of the same name was designed by the architect Josep Costa Ferrer in the early 30's. He comes from Ibiza - and has imported the typical architecture of the neighbouring island. The bright white, flat-roofed "Marga" is also a reminder of this. The spacious house sits on a plot of more than 1,000 m², which has been optimally used, because the focus here is on the beautiful curved, level pool surrounded by natural stone walls and the large paved terrace. This attracts with numerous seating areas and sun loungers not only for sun worshippers.

The interior of your air-conditioned holiday home is welcoming, bright and cosy. Large windows let in plenty of light, white walls, spotlights integrated into the ceilings and bright floors do the rest. This modern, summery base is partly combined with classic antique wooden furniture, creating an attractive mix of styles. On the ground floor is the living room, which is open to the cosy dining room. Here not only two comfortable sofas await you, but also a romantic fireplace and, of course, the TV for one or another exciting romantic evening.  The black and white, well-equipped kitchen, where you can also sit at a dining table. The four bedrooms, two of them with en suite bathrooms on the upper and ground floor, are all comfortably furnished. A total of four high-quality designer bathrooms complete the living space.

The villa is located in the popular coastal resort of Cala d'Or in the south of Majorca, perfect for a family beach holiday, as it is not as crowded as in the tourist strongholds popular with party-loving night owls. If you walk along the residential street, you will quickly reach the sea and can, for example, look out over the luxurious marina with the Cala d'Or Yacht Club: not only are there around 600 elegant boats to admire here, but also countless restaurants, bars and shops. If you want to explore the area's coves without a car, simply hop on the mini train, which takes holidaymakers from beach to beach at a leisurely pace. Speaking of the beach: you can easily walk it is only 200 metres away.
