Description

In a scenic setting with views out towards the city of Split, Villa Nasuta offers spacious and modern accommodation for up to six guests. With stunning panoramic views of Klis village – the fortress of which is now famous as a Game of Thrones location – this villa offers excellent facilities including a gym and 6m x 4m outdoor pool.

By the poolside, you have plenty of sun loungers and covered areas for dining and relaxing, all enjoying a magnificent view over the rugged local landscape. The area is very quiet, so it's ideal for getting away from it all, yet local amenities are close by, with shops and restaurants within 2km of the house.

The interior has been thoughtfully and tastefully designed, and makes the most of the location, showcasing the views with large windows and lovely terraces on the upper level. On the ground floor, you will find a dining area and fully equipped kitchen which forms part of an open-plan living space. Next to this is a comfortable seating area with Smart TV, PlayStation 3 and Wi-Fi.

Also on this floor there's a gym area with fitness equipment and Pilates ball, as well as a TV and ping-pong table, which takes you back out to the pool. Upstairs, the three inviting bedrooms are air-conditioned for your comfort. The first has a king-size bed, en suite bathroom with shower, and a terrace lounge corner with a great view of Split. The other two bedrooms both have a queen-size bed and one of these also has a terrace and TV.

Split itself is around 20 minutes' drive from Villa Nasuta and has a huge amount to explore. From its incredible museums and galleries to historic landmarks and a lively waterfront packed with cool places to eat and drink, it's a city well worth returning to time and again. If you're visiting the area for the GoT sights, be sure to visit Diocletian's Palace – organised tours can show you the rest too.

#### Location
A jewel of the Adriatic, Split offers an enchanting combination of natural beauty, culture and history. Its landmarks are bankable and worthy of their status – with Saint Domnius' Cathedral and Diocletian's Palace always able to draw a crowd. Beyond these, Split is a rewarding city to discover, with the glamour of the Riva waterfront and the invigorating Marjan Forest Park offering up yet more sides of the city.

There is no shortage of museums and galleries in Split – the city is big on culture and art. The Split Gallery of Fine Arts, Split City Museum and the Mestrovic Gallery, showcasing the work of the country's greatest sculptor, Ivan Mestrovic, are among the high points. You will find more of his greatest work at the nearby Kastelet too – intricate wooden carvings depicting the life of Christ.

With fragrant pine forests, botanical gardens and satisfying walking routes, the expansive spaces of Marjan Forest Park form the city's ‘green lung'. No visit to Split would be complete without a detour to Marjan – the tranquillity and stunning ocean views make it a very special place. The Roman ruins of Diocletian's Palace are perhaps Split's best-known attraction – guided walking tours of this and other Split landmarks provide a good introduction to the history of the city.

Riva is where modern life in Split comes to the fore – the promenade is the place to be for coffee by day or drinks at night, and there's always something happening. No wonder they call it the ‘living room' of Split.
Various other coastal locations are within a reasonable distance of the city and are well worth a visit. Look out for the wooden ships at Jesenice, and the pirate-themed attractions and river centric sports of Omis.
