Description

With glorious original features beautifully complementing modern luxuries, including an outdoor heated pool, Iden Green Granary is a fabulous farmhouse and accompanying granary for up to 16!

Nestled in the enchanting Kent countryside, from the moment you step into this spectacular entrance hall you will appreciate the grandeur and timeless beauty of this exquisite country home! Seamlessly fusing sophisticated design and contemporary comfort, the vast, welcoming living spaces ooze homely luxury. In the grand living room, you'll find a Duresta sofa, positioned in front of the original fireplace, with a large TV and quaint designs. Your superb kitchen enjoys a vaulted ceiling and wooden fittings with plenty of natural light and if you care to look closely you'll find numerous antiques throughout the home! Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen before setting up in the formal dining area, complete with the original flagstone floors, for an unforgettable occasion with friends and family! In the Granary you will also find a kitchen and sitting room as well as an array of games and toys!

There are eight majestic bedrooms in total, the first five can be found in the wondrous farmhouse, while the Granary offers another three. All eight are spacious, elegant and exude character and charm, incorporating the sense of history and original architecture in to a thoroughly modern, minimalist style. Vast windows and French doors fill each room with natural light and warmth, grant stunning views over the Kent countryside and in some cases provide direct garden access! There are three double rooms on the first floor, with two twin rooms on the second floor, and the remaining three bedrooms in the granary, with a king-size bed, a truckle bed and a set of bunk beds for the children. There are two ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor, with a fourth family bathroom in the granary. Each of the bathrooms is spacious, sparkling and totally luxurious, with large rain-showers, fabulous bathtubs including double-sized and standalones, and monochrome designs.

Step outside to your dazzling grounds, expanding in all directions and indeed, offering a private heated pool, for a fabulous breath of fresh air! This is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and country air whether in or out of the water with several loungers for sun-bathing. Strike up a competition on the table tennis in the barn for a little fun and games with all the group or allow the kids to frolic and play in the extensive grounds. If you need a little shade, dine alfresco on the terrace or get cosy in your fabulous covered seating area on the lawn!

For local activities, the sumptuous Kent coastline is just half an hour away, and once you've got your fill of sunshine and sea-air, head over to the National Trust properties at Sissinghurst and Scotney for a beautiful garden walk and a trip through history!
