Initially conceived as a monastery, the Castle was bought by a noble family at the start of the 19th century. The family equipped the property with impressive wine cellars, thus beginning a wine production that became renowned throughout Europe. The estate covers 90 hectares and includes a spa lake with hot springs from which therapeutic mud is extracted. There is a wealth of spa centres just a few minutes away from the Castle where it is possible to book all kinds of treatments and massages, as well as the renowned mud treatments. There are also countless thermal baths in the surrounding area. The Castle is located in the heart of the Colli Euganei Natural Park, a protected area boasting striking landscape, the perfect spot for mountain bike fans and those who enjoy nature walks. Art lovers should not miss out on a trip to Castello di Monselice, the medieval village of Arquà Petrarca, Padua (27 km) and Venice (65 km), as well as a wealth of other destinations offering numerous sites of interest.
