Description

The natural stone villa "Can Moleta" welcomes guests to a luxurious and idyllically located estate close to the eastern coastline of Mallorca with a romantic and aesthetic ambience. The garden surrounding the house offers various opportunities to spend enjoyable time outdoors, with a pretty design dotted with Mediterranean shrubs. Various terraces invite you to linger underneath the Mediterranean sun or in the breezy shade. Naturally, you can also relax on the lawns. Children staying here will have great places to play and frolic. a The terrace with inviting seating furniture and a splendid view of the garde nis also located directly adjacent to the garden. The stonewalled barbecue in the little garden house invites you to organise convivial culinary barbecues on mild evenings and indulge in the fresh delicacies of the region. The centrepiece of the garden is of course the pool, tiled with beautiful decorative mosaic stones with adjacent sun terrace. Here, you can relax to your heart's content on the available loungers and perhaps just fully unwind.

Upon entering the house, you will find yourself surrounded by a very charming and authentic atmosphere, which immediately makes you feel at home. Here, natural stone features harmonise with white walls, classic exposed beam ceilings, and terracotta tiling (parts of which particularly striking). These are joined by selected furnishings and charming decorative pieces. The very large living/dining area offers plenty of nooks and crannies of different character, to also enjoy your privacy every now and then. The ancillary living room, which is accessed through a broad arch, has a rustic character, fitted with various sofas that are perfect for relaxation, reading, and having a good conversation. In the directly adjacent large living area, you will find another comfortable sofa corner that invites you to linger to your heart's content. You can also let a good film entertain you if you feel like it, since the TV with satellite connection and DVD player are installed exactly here. At the other end of this extensive and very bright room, you will find the solid dining table that offers space to at least eight people. Conveniently, the spacious and fully furnished kitchen is located right next to it. Here, you will find everything to meet your daily needs, including an oven, cooker, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, filter coffee maker, and much more. There's even room for another small dining table, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a small meal together. The bedrooms are spaciously laid out, furnished to a high standard, and decorated with style and character. Here too, you will see the exposed beam ceiling as well as natural stone walls. These are not just pleasant for the eye, but also contribute significantly to the overall ambience. Two of these bedrooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom. There is one double bedroom with one bed measuring 1.60 x 1.90 m, as well as four double bedrooms with two twin beds measuring 0.90 x 2.00 m each. The equally stylish bathrooms, with natural light, are fitted with modern furnishings.

What makes this property stand out, aside from the aforementioned qualities, is its unique layout. The house holds another apartment with separate entrance that houses a double room and a bathroom (en-suite). Thus, the main building houses a total of four double rooms and three bathrooms. This additional apartment offers a very private space to either an individual traveler or a couple. Perhaps ideal for grandpa and grandma who appreciate their peace and quiet from time to time?

The smaller fishermen's village of Porto Cristo offers two stalactite caves worth exploring. Together from the "Cuevas dels Harms", to the west of the town, the "Cuevas del Drach" (Dragon Caves) at the southern edge of Porto Cristo are the most-visited caves of the island. The newly developed tourist area of Porto Cristo is located a bit further to the south and is called Porto Cristo Nuevo. If you drive to Cala Anguila to take a swim, a footpath there allows you to walk over to Cala Mendia, about 600 m further. The beach there has fine sand and azure water,
and it's not as crowded. Also, since the beach has a level entry into the water, it's particularly popular amongst families with small children. Here, you can rent loungers, parasols, and pedal boats.
