Description
This cosy semi-detached holiday house in Refrancore, in the heart of Monferrato is the ideal solution for those who wish to take a break from the stressful daily routine. The location will allow you to visit the Monferrato with its typical hills, precious wines and good food, as well as being just 10 km from Asti, rich in history and places to visit such as the Cathedral of Maria Assunta or the Baptistery of San Pietro. The house on three floors has a bedroom with a private bathroom on the ground floor, not connected internally with the rest of the house and with its own private entrance. On the first floor is a large living room with a sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. An internal staircase leads to the second floor with a bedroom, a bathroom and a large balcony. A large garden is shared with other houses and equipped with a barbecue area and garden furniture. There are many aspects that make Refrancore extremely interesting: food and wine with sparkling wine, truffles, risotto with sausage and the typical "Asti" desserts. Also worth mentioning is the Palio of Asti, a traditional festival that has medieval roots, born as part of the patron saints of San Secondo and culminating with a horse race. Very important is the "Douja d’or", a food and wine fair that takes place between September and October. Art lovers should not miss the abbey of Santa Maria di Vezzolano (48 km), a jewel set at the foot of one of the highest hills of Monferrato. Finally, don't miss the elegant Turin (55 km), the first Italian capital town, rich in monuments and museums, first of all the Egyptian Museum, second in the world after Cairo.
