Description

Surrounded by lush countryside and with views out to the sea and Minho River from its elevated position, Moradia Moledo is a comfortable, family-friendly villa from which to explore nearby beaches on the Costa Verde.
Styled with natural tones and materials throughout, this holiday home gives the feel of the outside come inside. The living space has floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors, making full advantage of the villa's prime location for stunning views.
On the ground floor is a light and spacious living/dining area with a comfortable sofa and armchair, television and wood burning stove. There's also a DVD player with a selection of DVDs to choose from when the family settle down for film night. Also in this space is a dining table and chairs for six people, making the living area a sociable space to enjoy meals. Doors open onto an exterior covered terrace with further seating and dining options, which in turn leads to the outside space. The modern kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals as you enjoy the views out over the garden and beyond. A toilet on this floor is ideal for those trips between the outside and inside spaces.
To the first floor is a master double bedroom with ensuite shower room and two twin bedrooms that have use of a well-appointed shower room. All bedrooms are light and well-furnished with plenty of storage space. For individual character, each room has a selection of quirky toys and sea-related items that help create an atmosphere that reflects the villa's proximity to the sea and river.
The walled, mature garden features lawned areas and a private swimming pool with decking and several bean bags for soaking up the views in comfort. You'll also find several shaded areas where you can enjoy simply reading a book or listening to music under one of the well-established trees.

#### Location
The villa is within walking distance of basic amenities but you'll want to head out in the car for a larger choice of shops and restaurants in nearby towns. Being both in the countryside and close to the sea, you have an interesting choice of places to visit on days out.
Caminha is a small port town and is around 4 km from the villa. The main square is home to numerous 15th and 16th century buildings and structures, including an elaborate fountain at its heart. After you've taken in the sights, take the weight off your feet at one of the square's terrace cafes or restaurants and enjoy some local wine or a traditional seafood meal.
There are several beautiful beaches within easy reach of Caminha, including Praia de Moledo and Foz do Minho. At either beach you can take a short boat ride out to the Insua Fortress that's situated on a small rocky island just off the coast. Its origins are as a 15th century-convent, but during later centuries it was transformed into a defence post for protecting the local area from invasions by sea.
These beaches are great for a range of activities, whether it's the sea or river you prefer. Calm estuary waters are best for kayaking and canoeing, with windsurfing and regular surfing being particularly good on the ocean due to the strong winds and waves. The pine forests are lovely to walk through and allow you to see the more rugged side of the area.
