Villa Salginha is a lovely, contemporary, terracotta and white villa, a modern, sugar cube shaped holiday villa situated in the beautiful area of Lagoa de Albufeira. With three spacious bedrooms and a comfortable open plan living, Villa Salginha sleeps up to 6 guests.

The villa is within walking distance of the truly spectacular beach. Three small rivers have carved deep lagoons in the fine silvery sand making this special place popular with watersports lovers. Praia Lagoa de Albufeira is a preserved ecological reserve perfect for walking and bird watching. The region is famous for its seafood restaurants as well as the superb beach. It is just 40km from the buzzy cosmopolitan city of Lisbon, perfect for a fabulous day trip and even closer to the wonderful town of Sesimbra.

Villa Salginha is very private with fences all around the property. The garden is landscaped and well maintained. The pool is just perfect for family fun and is surrounded by deck chairs and lounge seats. There is a barbecue for delicious summer suppers. You will certainly enjoy the tranquillity of this villa.

The design of Villa Salginha is contemporary and minimalist. Downstairs is open plan with a pristine, dazzling, well-equipped kitchen at one end with a fabulous bright and airy dining and lounge space next to it. Large floor to ceiling doors and windows throughout illuminate this fantastic, modern space. There is a useful toilet on the ground floor.

A trendy staircase leads upstairs to three wonderful bedrooms. The master suite boasts a double bed and a lovely, modern ensuite bathroom with a shower. The remaining two bedrooms both have double beds and share an excellent, spacious, tiled shower room. Villa Salginha certainly offers peace and comfort in modern surroundings. You will quickly relax away from it all!

#### Location
Villa Salginha enjoys a fabulous location on the Lisbon Coast within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach. Lagoa de Albufeira is absolutely gorgeous with the lagoons perfect for windsurfing, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. There are other spectacular beaches that can be reached by car within 5-10 minutes. Praia das Biscas is 6km from the villa and boasts some incredible, challenging surf. Portinho de Arrabida and the Sesimbra beaches offer some fantastic diving opportunities. Just a short drive away, Meco Beach is situated within the incredible Serra da Arrabida National Park. There are many hiking and biking trails to enjoy as well as the fabulous beach.

Alfarim is only 2.5km from the villa and boasts a good range of shops, a bakery, butcher, bank and supermarkets. The whole area is a foodie lover's paradise. It is also perfect for beach lovers and those that enjoy hiking, biking, horse riding and golf. Recommended golf courses include Quinta do Peru, 16km from the villa, Aroeira, 24km away, Montado, 48km from the villa, Santo Estevao, 70km and Troja, 52km away. There are some delightful riding schools for horse riding lovers including Centro Hipico do Convento de Sao Domingos, Azeitao, Centro Hipico Granja Paraiso, Sesimbra and Centro Hipico Quinta do Picao, Azeitao.

As well as a gorgeous coastline and horseriding, Sesimbre has a lot to offer tourists seeking an authentic Portuguese holiday. The atmospheric fish market is the perfect place to buy fish for the barbecue or you can enjoy the freshly cooked seafood served at the traditional, family run Marisqueira restaurants. The Instagram worthy Portinho da Arrabida coastline is stunning and immensely popular for kayaking trips and diving. The wild and exposed cliff headland, Cabo Espichel, boasts incredible views, a unique church, a lighthouse and two sets of dinosaur footprints!

As well as visiting Sesimbre, Setubal and Lisbon, you may want to explore the Azeitao area visiting characteristic villages such as Vila Fresca and Vila Nogueira. You can taste excellent regional cheeses, tarts and wines made from Periquita grapes and the famous wine, Moscatel of Sebutal. The wine cellar of Jose Maria de Fonseca is over 200 years old and is still family run. Quinta de Bacalhoa is one of the largest wine cellars owned by Jose Berardo, a well-known art collector and one of the richest men in Portugal. Not only will you taste excellent wines, you can visit the beautiful palace, brimming with artworks, that adjoins the vineyards.
