Description

Delightfully quiet, rural, and in the heart of nature – but in no way secluded: The gorgeous villa "Sa Punta den Nadal" awaits visitors in its old south-facing grounds. It underwent an extensive renovation and now presents itself as a true rural gem. Here, you will immediately feel right at home: The large estate is completely surrounded by olive trees and typical Mediterranean plants. The charming villa, partially tiled and partially with a front of natural stone, stretches over several levels – and delights holidaymakers with various covered and sunny terraces. Of course, all of them are equipped with the necessary furniture to make it hard for guests to choose where to relax: Enjoying a scrumptious breakfast on the sunny rooftop terrace, having a siesta nap on the shady and cosy outdoor sofa, or sunbathing with a cocktail on one of the numerous loungers. Speaking of sun loungers – you will also find the large pool of varying depths directly behind the house where you can refresh yourself and enjoy sporting activities. And even those children who are not yet confident swimmers will find activities to satisfy their youthful needs – a swing and a paddling pool in the garden, among other things, provide diverse recreational options.

The very well-kept interior of "Sa Punta den Nadal" is wonderfully bright thanks to the many windows and white walls. The interior is decorated in a classic and pleasantly discreet manner befitting the house, with a harmonious colour palette of warm natural and earth tones. The entrance area on the ground floor offers direct access to the open living and dining area. While you can enjoy your dinner by the stylish old wooden table with chairs, the living room has two cosy sofas to watch the crackling fire – or TV, if you prefer. Right next-door, guests will find the small but fine white country-house kitchen, which is equipped with modern, high-quality appliances, including a large refrigerator – very practical, especially when you are on holidays with a larger group and want to have a few supplies ready at hand. After a long day spent exploring, you can retreat to the upper or lower floor of this villa, where the bedrooms are located. The top floor houses two of them, both tastefully and skilfully decorated with clear lines. Just relax and close your weary eyes. A tiled bathroom rounds off the facilities on the first floor. There are two more double – equally tastefully designed – bedrooms on the ground floor; both with an en-suite bathroom. One of the two bedrooms can be accessed via a separate entrance from the outside – the perfect room for holidaymakers who like to go explore the island on their own now and again.

Your villa is situated in rural surroundings near the quaint fishing village of Portocolom in the south of Mallorca. The town is only 3.3 km away. The tranquil village with its beautiful old town nestles around a cove, in which the island's largest natural harbour formed over the years. In days of yore, the wines from Felanitx, which is about 15 km away, were shipped to other ports from here. Now, you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade and marvel at the many luxurious yachts and the traditional colourful fishing boats. There are also some good restaurants and handsome cafes in Portocolom; however, more extensive shopping is best done in Felanitx, which is just a short drive away. If you prefer to go to the beach, you'll love S'Arenal Portocolom, which is located about 2.9 km from the villa. The names might sound the same, but it's quite different from S'Arenal near Palma. S'Arenal Portocolom is a small but attractive beach that gently slopes into the sea. It is especially popular with locals – and the perfect place for a picture book sunset.
