Description

Characteristic stone-built holiday house in the heart of the Tuscan area of Maremma at 1 km from Pereta. From the garden you enjoy a beautiful view over the marvelous Argentario area, the medieval hamlet of Pereta and the surrounding country-side. The holiday house is particularly suitable for a family holiday and your pet is welcome, too. The climate is typically Mediterranean with hot summers and dry winter months which is perfect both for a summer holiday and an “escape” during the low season and the winter months. The house owner lives on the ground, but the guests will be totally independent and will enjoy their privacy. By the way the holiday house is situated in a silent and panoramic position fully immersed in the nature. It is an independent holiday house which has two large double bedrooms, one of which on a higher level, and a twin-bedded room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. In the outdoor areas you will find a covered patio ideal for your relax and an independent garden with table, chairs and barbecue for your “al fresco” dining. The house is situated at 1 km from the medieval hamlet of Pereta, 8 km from Magliano in Toscana (various shops and restaurants) and 8 km from Scansano. In the surroundings you will also find Saturnia, famous for its thermals baths, and the historical hamlets of Pitigliano and Sovana. At a 10 minutes drive from Scansano you will find 2 golf courts. The beautiful coastal line of the Argentario is at abt. 20 km only. In Porto Santo Stefano you will find ferries to the isles of Giglio and Giannutri which you can visit during a one-day trip. Those among you who love to make excursions should organize a horse riding in the natural park “Parco dell’Uccellina” or visit the beautiful costal lines of the Maremma and the Argentario by boat. Apart from this there are a lot of archeologic sites to visit, for instance the Etruscan site of Roselle. The holiday house is situated at 15 km from Scansano, well-known for the excellent wine called “Morellino di Scansano” which is highly appreciated not only in Italy. In the surroundings of Scansano you will find several wine cellars where you can taste the different wines and choose the one you prefer. Rome and Florence are at a 2 hours drive approximately. The access to the house is by 1 km unasphalted road.
