This traditional Masseria dates back to the 16th century, but now showcases itself as a luxury villa in Puglia, set on a private estate in the Salento countryside just 15 minutes from the surf and sand of Torre Lapillo beach.
Light, bright, open and airy, the inviting interior spaces will make you feel right at home. Five cozy bedrooms each come with an en suite bathrooms and a flat-screen TV for movie nights in bed. Host meals in the formal dining room, or casually dine at the breakfast table in the charming kitchen. For extraordinary views, head up the winding staircase to the upper terrace overlooking the estate's own vineyards.
Soak up sun from the comfort of your own ‘island' oasis out back; the sun loungers lining the decked pool area are encompassed by 200 hectacres of olive groves and vineyards. There are plenty of outdoor lounge spaces to relax with a glass of wine or dine alfresco, and wine aficionados will love the wine cellar and wine museum located on the estate.
Though the secluded location is ideal for a restful Italian holiday, day trips to Lecce, with its distinctive baroque buildings, boutiques, and papier-mache traditions are a must!

Interior
Masseria Amaranta's interiors really are stunning, with five spacious bedrooms that all feature an en-suite, a flat screen TV, traditional wrought-iron beds and tea and coffee facilities. The beautiful sweeping staircase will catch your eye as you walk into the villa, which leads out onto a magnificent terrace that offers extensive and relaxing views of the estate's vineyards.
A large living room is located at the bottom of the stairs. Here, you can chill out in the cool of the room or enjoy meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen and eaten in the extensive and elegant dining room. All rooms are fitted with air-conditioning and free wifi.

Outside Grounds
Masseria Amaranta is an old farmhouse built in the late sixteenth century and surrounded by over 200 hectares of olive groves and vineyards, a beautiful reflection of the area's finest produce. Access to the property is via a long driveway, with an impressive wine cellar, vineyard and wine museum just a short walk from the farmhouse. Outside is a spectacular swimming pool and gardens with shady pergolas and a terrace for dining.
