Description

If you choose the villa "Es Revolt de Sa Barrala", you can expect an all-around down-to-earth property with an extremely well-kept, attractive outdoor area. The pool next to the palm tree that exudes a tropical flair is large enough to swim a few laps with its 6 x 4 m. There is even a football pitch next to it that won't only be popular with the youngest travellers. The garden design impresses with a lot of variation – Mediterranean trees, shrubs, and lawns form a harmonious ensemble that offers plenty of relaxation. The aerial photographs of the villa show how green the surroundings are. This is accompanied by a lot of privacy, which you can enjoy during spirited BBQ parties. The side extension is perfect for this, where a solid brick BBQ offers enough space for your delicacies. You can then savour these on the covered terrace, for example, where a rustic wooden table invites you to have a seat. The roof terrace is particularly sun-drenched. You can reach it from the first floor. Otherwise, loungers are also available directly by the pool, so your daily dip can be followed by some suntanning.

The house itself, with typical, inviting stone facade, spreads a quaint, cosy flair, certainly in part because of the massive, dark-brown wooden beams on the ceilings. Air-conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures, so you won't break a sweat even while cooking elaborate dishes in the conveniently equipped kitchen. In the living room with its two sofas and the very comfortable armchair, you can enjoy the TV programmes from home thanks to modern satellite technology. The paintings on the walls display the kaleidoscope of beautiful natural landscapes which are abundant on the island and waiting for you to discover them. To be well rested for such an excursion, this villa offers four bedrooms – the ground floor accommodates two bedrooms, one of which has two single beds, the other with a double bed. The same applies to the upper floor, although the double bed up here is somewhat narrow with 1.35 m, so this villa is excellent for a total of seven travellers. Thanks to the pantry, you won't have any problems storing all your purchases.

Where you decide to go shop is entirely up to you. Campos, which is 9 km away and has a population of about 10,000, is known for its market that takes place on Thursdays and Saturdays, where you can buy the local specialities sobrasada and piris cheese, among other things. Here, you can assemble a lavish picnic for a magnificent day by the sea at the Caribbean-style dream beach Es Trenc, which invites you for a swim about 5 km from the villa. The former fishing village Colònia de Sant Jordi is great for a stroll. It also offers many maritime sports. The southeastern part of the island is characterised by many colourful villages which can be explored by car. Thanks to a road near the house, which can be audible depending on the wind direction, you are very mobile from here. It will also take you to the nature reserve Parc natural de Mondragó, around 30 km away, to observe rare bird species.
