Paciaro, a real jewel of Umbria, is less than a ten-minute drive away: an oasis of peace in the countryside with many characteristic little shops. Cortona, the city of the great Renaissance architects such as Francesco di Giorgio Martini and Cristofanello, where the masterpieces of the Sienese School are preserved, is certainly worth a visit.
